I go to a local boutique that sells lingerie and costumes. I don't like shopping on-line because I want to try on outfits before I buy them. One size might fit all, but that doesn't mean it looks good on all!

Here's a thread with some online resources, but you may be best with a local dressmaker for one of a kind type stuff.

Gotta love the costume ladies!! I used to get my shoes and clothes from Daniel Rose here in ft. lauderdale--he's a great guy(to me anyway), and gave me good discounts on the clothes if I bought a pair of shoes from him. His shop was not there anymore the last time I went!! Sometimes I would trade outfits with other girls when I got tired of one or two that I had, that I didn't want to keep! Its a cheap way of getting a new outfit and most girls are more than happy to trade for a new outfit!

I have scored a few good ones at the thrift store. The best was a plaid skirt and tight, short-sleeved black sweater, a really sweet school girl outfit. Also a short wedding dress with a pouffy train/bustle for $7. (Wich makes up for the $60 corset I bought to go under it, I guess! )

I also got a great cheerleader outfit at a halloween costume store, and some cool accessories, too.

ANd then there are the lingerie clearence racks at k-mart, target, lovers lane . . . .

And the cheap music legs and leg avenue package dresses at the beauty supply stores.
