Djoser, I don't get it. How is a tampon going to prevent disease transmission once fingering has occurred? The guy won't be discouraged by the tampon until he's gotten far enough to know it's there, right? And once he's gotten that far, any bacteria or other pathogens on his digits have already been in contact with the girl's mucous membranes. It seems to me that a tampon, at this point, would only serve to trap said pathogens and perhaps give them increased surface area on which to proliferate.Originally Posted by Djoser
I just don't think this is a very good solution to the problem.
Seems to me that the best way for a dancer to protect her physical (and emotional) health in this case is to prevent things from ever going this far in the first place.

This is ESPECIALLY true for men from certain countries that tend to be a little more arrogant and chauvinistic.... with most arab countries being notorious for this. Wasn't it posted earlier about the arab man that told the dancer she'd be stoned in the streets if she was in his country?? WTF is that???
