How many outfits do you see yourself using in a typical shift? Obviously you change for every stage show, but do you change again to work the floor? Do your outfits for the stage differ from the ones you work the floor with?

I've seen girls wear the same outfit all night on stage and off. I think its really up to you whatever you feel comfortable. Sometimes you are so busy there is no time to change. Also if you change all the time it might be good you'll look like a different girl, then again if you wear the same thing some customers might be looking for you and if you change they might think you are gone.
Don't worry about outfits and changing all night. Work the floor. Sometimes guys try to look for you and recognize you that night by your outfit when they see you on stage, if you keep changing sometimes they get confused. Now, if you are working hard and pushing dances and keep getting turned down, then go change, it could be the outfit..sometimes that happens. But changing outfits throughout the night is not what you should be busy with.
I have very few outfits and rarely change. I'm picky about what I wear, so once I find something that looks good on me, it's a keeper.
I rarely change but if I do, it's not for the custy's benefit. Of course, the outfits I have are sexy, but I'm more of a practical girl: if I'm cold, I wear one certain outfit. If I get too hot, I change into another one. If I feel like being more of a glamour puss, I put on the third. If I'm in an "I don't care" mode, I put on some pants.
But I try to stick with one or two outfits per night and not spend all my time in the dressing room changing.

Yeah I think that it makes a girl look unconfident if she is changing all night.

If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.

It really depends on my mood how often I change. I'm a costume whore so I have a lot of stuff. Sometimes I'll change after every stage set and sometimes I'll keep the same outfit on all night.
Do you think you make more money if you change your outfits frequently or the $$ stays about the same?

I don't think there's a huge corrolation between changing outfits during a shift and having a change in earnings. Provided all the outfits are good, it's not going to matter much. The only exception to this is if you are working in a club where smoking is prominent. If guys are smoking a lot, your clothes are going to absorb that smell like a sponge. You may not notice it because you are immersed in the odor, but after a few hours, it's hard not to start smelling like an ash-tray and your customers can definitely be turned off by that. A good outfit switch in the middle of your shift will fix that issue quickly though.

I wear the same outfit all night, even for repeat stage shows. Sometimes if business isn't good and I'm not happy in my outfit, I'll change. But it seldomly makes any difference at all.
Don't worry about your outfits, practice your game.
