    Default OK, thanx, bye?

After I think I can't sell any more dances to a customer and want to move on to others in the club, how can I gracefully leave the first customer to go approach another one? I tend to get stuck with one person for, I think, too long because I don't want to be abrupt.

    Any advice?

I think a nice way it to walk them back to their seat, but don't sit down, and say "thank you again", while giving a light squeeze on the shoulder and then smile and walk away.

I say take what Emily said and expand upon it to make an upsell perhaps at a later time. Say, "Thanks again, and in the future when you would like to spend some more time together, please be sure to grab me or ask for me by name, [insert name here]. Thanks again!"

Usually they thank me for the dance, I thank them and let them know that I enjoyed spending time with them. Then I'll say, are you going to be here for awhile? Great, don't dissapear without saying goodbye!

yeah, i usually use the same line "are you going to be here for awhile?". I then tell them, especially if they spent alot of $$ on me that I will stop by their table later and to not leave without saying goodbye. I usually stop by at least once just to "see how they are doing".

For someone I just danced for- I just say Thanks so much, I appreciate it, have a great night- come back and see me again. Then move on... if it's busy.. if it's slow- I'll visit them again at their table. Sometimes I can get them for another dance.

For someone who obviously doesn't want a dance - Well I gotta get back to work- I'll check on you again later in case you change your mind. *smile, shoulder or hand squeeze*

tell them you have a few dances to give and you'll come back later, that way you look like you're in demand, or I say I have to check in with the DJ or freshen up and Ill see them in a bit..blabla
