After every song that I dance I always ask them if they would like to continue. Before I started doing this, I got ripped off just once, by an asshole tourist who wanted to talk. When I told him it was $200 he laughed at me and said he didn't know what he was getting into. I ran to get the bouncer, but the guy was alrady out the door.
So now I ask them if they want more dances, and it seems to me that I don't sell as many songs to each customer. Could there be some sort of a relation between asking to continue and not making more money?
Over the past 2 years that I've been dancing my earnings have plummeted to about 40-50% from what I made in the beginning. My body looks better than ever and I have more social skills. How could this all be?
So, my question is, do you tell them how many songs passed after every song or just continue dancing assuming they are counting, too.
If you don't ask, then how many times (if ever) have you been ripped off?
