    Default Counting songs

After every song that I dance I always ask them if they would like to continue. Before I started doing this, I got ripped off just once, by an asshole tourist who wanted to talk. When I told him it was $200 he laughed at me and said he didn't know what he was getting into. I ran to get the bouncer, but the guy was alrady out the door.

So now I ask them if they want more dances, and it seems to me that I don't sell as many songs to each customer. Could there be some sort of a relation between asking to continue and not making more money?

Over the past 2 years that I've been dancing my earnings have plummeted to about 40-50% from what I made in the beginning. My body looks better than ever and I have more social skills. How could this all be?

So, my question is, do you tell them how many songs passed after every song or just continue dancing assuming they are counting, too.

If you don't ask, then how many times (if ever) have you been ripped off?

I got ripped off once too and since then I always ask!! The only time I don't is if I'm with a regular who gets a set number every time he comes in or in the CR where dances are 4 for $100. I ask after the initial four tho. I don't know about my income changing because I've been doing it since just after I started dancing but I honestly think it cuts out alot of hassles so for me it would be worth it anyways.

I always ask after the 1st one if they would like to continue. If they say yes, I tell them "just let me know when your done with me, then ok?"

That gives them an out, and I also ask after every 3 ($100) songs.

And yes I have been ripped before too.

Better off to get it first, then at least you've got the money. If you ask the guy if he wants to continue and he says yes he may not necessarily have the money but will say yes because of COURSE he wants to continue...who would want it to end!? Get the cash before he makes his dash!

Hm. I had this problem once. Kind of. I had a guy back in the VIP area, getting $100 for each song (my request). He had stupidly shown me his bank account through his debit card, and he had a little over 2 grand in there, so I knew what his limit was. Well, you girls know how when you get tired of dancing, and you just wanna go home (that and it was 630 am)..well, he wanted me to keep going, and I could have easily had all of his cash, but I stopped at song #12. So I went with him to the atm, and he started withdrawing the cash, got to about 5 or 600, then the machine wouldnt let him withdraw anymore. That was on a Saturday morning I believe. Well, the club manager was big on bullshitting people, so he got the guys military ID card, got his social, his number, his commanders number, and said it wouldnt look good if he had to call his commander, lol. So anyways, Sunday morning rolls around, and my hubby and one of the body guards (beefed up Chicago boy), and myself go to his barracks. The body guard was military also, so he knew of the guy's battalion and whatnot, went up to his room, had the guy come down outside, in the rain, and give me the money personally. It was a riot I tell ya. But since then, I have always protected myself and my money. There was one guy who got drunk stupid one night and didnt believe he had gotten around 350$ in lapdances, and said he only had so and so amount of money, so I told him right quick he better get it if he doesnt want a bouncer to get a hold of him. Funny, he gave me the rest of my cash 2 minutes later.

I work where I am free to set my own prices, so I sell a lot of sets. I tell them I sell 2 songs for $20 in one bar, and I sell $10 a song or 3/$25 in the other. That keeps them around for multiple songs (unusual in this setting) and even though the culture is to pay AFTR the dance, at tleast I have the guy committed for a set $ of songs.

I remind them every time a set is over (sometimes have to recite the names of the songs that I dsanced to to prove they really did have that many songs!) and settle up every 3 sets.

I usually tell them, "Well, I am about to loose track so do you mind if we settle up before we keep dancing? I would rather concentrate of giving you the best dance possible than worry abot keeping track."
