Default Do you change your final sales line?

Do you use the same sales line "wanna dance?" "May I dance for you?" "Lets go to the back room" etc or do you change it up according to the person?

I usually change it up but sometimes it doesn't come out as well as it sounds in my head so I am wondering of I should get 2-3 good lines and stick to them. This way the will be well rehearsed and come out confidently.

How do you ladies approach it?

I usually say Would you like to go for a dance or Are you ready for a dance or You look like you're ready for a dance..

Not too many people are impressed by these, maybe that's why I'm so broke LOL

I think after a few minutes of small talk, the guy has pretty much decided if he's going to get a dance from you or not, and a clever line isn't too likely to change his mind. There's been lots of cute ideas here and other places, so just wait for a pause in the conversation and bring it up.

Yeah, I agree with Destiny. I think it's good to have a good sales line, though, because it's part of the "whole package. However, if a guy isn't already interested in you because of your looks and/or personality enough to want to get a dance, I doubt a snazzy sales line will make a difference. I think it's more about the "lines" (conversation) leading up to the sales line.

I just point at them and bark, "you, let's go! Dance! NOW!" Either they are in right away, wave me off, or know that I'm being humorous and invite me to sit down with them in order to get a dance soon.

I stole this one from one of the SW threads, " are you ready" "for what?" "to be the chosen one!" This line works really WELL!

After talking with customers for a bit, I usually ask, "Shall we dance?" or "I was wondering if I may dance for you." I deviate sometimes. Last night, I said, "You're getting a f*cken dance. Don't give me that look. Let's go." Yep, it worked.
