    Default Hallo... I'm new

Hi I'm Lili.... and I am unsure of really what to say but wanted some feedback, advice, or whatnot.

I'll be turning 19 the first of May and am slightly insecure about my body. I met a girl at my college that told me she was an exotic dancer and informed me it was a good way to make cash. I have a fiance and a (1 year old) daughter and we live with my father and are hoping to save up and move out of here.

At first when she told me about dancing I was a bit put off... but she seems so self confident and secure with her job (not to mention all the cash she flashes) After discussing it with my fiance he likes the idea (mostly of the money) and with a little encouragement I am sure I could do it.

Mostly I lack the self confidence that I know is essential for this career choice... some of the things I am worried about:

Body Hair: I have a bit of lower back hair and am afraid if I start waxxing it it will grow back thicker... any tips?

Legs: My legs are very very thin... especially my ankles... I feel like I have chicken or skeleton legs ...

Breasts: My breasts are small (lowest B cup size).. I do not want to get implants

Stretch marks: Have one fairly large one that looks like I was slashed with a knife (sorta) on my abdominum

Other than that I am fairly good looking... I am 5'6" and weigh about 115- size 6-7 pant/dress size.

As for dancing I can't dance- and feel fairly clumsy... how important is dancing skill?

Any other dancers out there that can relate to feeling insecure at first but have success stories or tips for me apprieciated.

    Thanks!
    Lili

How hairy is your back? If it's fuzzy and visible, bleach it. If it's thick, well, I don't know. Laser hair removal? Can anyone see it but you?

As for you stomach, I have that same stretch mark. I got it from a growth spurt. I've had no kids. My stomach is very flat and toned. No one seems to notice or care about my slash.

    I have very skinny legs.

    My boobs are a B.

And my feet are huge for someone my size. I used to let that get me down but not anymore!

all dancers who have had kids have stretch marks... you can barely tell because of the lighting. I had never danced in my life... I didn't even know I could move heh... but all you gotta do is move slowwwlyy, sort of watch the other girls, but don't like steal their moves. You shoul dbe fine. Oh and small boobs are fine!

Thanks guys! Yes my back hair is very visable- its my "worst" body flaw (in my opinion). I'll have to look into forms of removing it...

Waxing will make hair grow back thinner, if anything. And I've seen girls with dark back hair do just fine. Though it would make me self-conscious, too. If the stretch mark bothers you a lot you could always wear a garter belt and stockings to cover it up. There's all sorts of ways to cope.

I think you would do fine, but above all, be comfortable in your dancing. If you arent comfortable dancing slow, dance faster, and vice versa. Just be yourself and be comfortable. If you wouldnt want to wax your back, I would say just nair it.

Hi Lili, First, waxing as mentioned before does make hair grow back thinner when done properly. Legs, try on some 7" heels see what that does for your leg shape. Boobies, a lot of men are cool with the "handful" size (I have B's too). Marks, I have known a couple women who had several stretch marks vertically next to each other on their belly from having a child, but let me tell you, I would have never known with the lighting in a SC. Your weight and height sound very nice. I am soooo not a dancing queen. When I danced I just danced reaaall slow and smiled. Good Luck.

I would test out being in a club with black lights first to see if your hair is noticible. It might not be! But if it is I would just wax it. I've waxed my arms a few times in a row and the hair grew back exactly the same as it was. Just a little slower growth!

It really cracks me up when some of the women on here complain about their bust size when it's a B or up, no offense directly to you. I'm a 34 A and i did DAMN well when I danced (I quit for various reasons)

Hair doesn't grow back thicker if you wax, only when you shave, and even then I think it's a myth. When hair is razored off it tends to have a sharp edge to it making it look and feel thicker when in reality it isn't. Waxing will definitely NOT make it grow back thicker.

As for dancing skills, yeah you need em. I'd say practice a lot. I prolly looked dumb and clumsly at first too, but it was mostly cuz I was so used to party dancing, you know, the kind of dancing where you just shake your ass. Best advice I can give is think of yourself as a sly cat or snake when you move your body. You have to be in a sexy state of mind. MOST OF ALL, MOVE SLOW!!! and try not to repeat yourself too much, there was one girl that i worked with and after watching her a couple of times I had her stage routine memorized, it was sad cuz she was really gorgeous.
