    Default cocktailing in SF

Any recommendations for San Francisco clubs at which to work as a cocktail waitress? I don't have experience but I'm a) cute and b) a quick study, so I figured a strip club might give me a chance. I'm thinking about dancing but before I try it I'd like to get a feel for the whole strip club thing---plus I figure I could make some decent money cocktailing since the clubs bring in people who are ready to spend.

From a customer perspective, I very much enjoyed the Gold Club a few months back.

Condor on Columbus and Broadway is a great place. It isn't actually a strip club, but I suggest it because it's owned by Deja Vu. It's a LA style club with topless go go dancers.

Condor was the first topless club in the US. Nowadays, it is a regular night club and they also have event nights such as Saturdays with male strippers. It is owned by SAW, the local management company, not DV.

The Condor was more of a sports bar when I lived there 3 years ago

condor used to be a sports bar, now is like a lounge/nightclub with a retro showgirl decor celebrating it's history. All the girls that bartend/waitress dress in skimpy cute girl outfits and is mostly tourists and industry people. I know for a fact it is owned by deja vu, because my manager over at teh hungry I (also owned by deja vu) was promoted from the condor. It's worth a try as a cocktail gig, but you usually have to know someone to get in. I'd recommend hustler, showgirls, or gold club. I started as a waitress and worked my way to dancer, but I'd say if you want to dance, why not just try it and see what it's like? Check craigslist for any other jobs here in sf.
