    Default Keep Awake Pills

I am always tired and the times that I used to sleep have now been changed to times that I am working. It doesn't matter how much I sleep during the day, as soon as that time comes around I am nodding off or yawning heavily.

Does anyone know of any good 'stay awake pills' ?

Coffee used to be my thing, but all it is doing now is stinking up my breath and sending me to the bathroom faster than ever before. As for keeping me awake? I am yawning now as I drink my third cup.

I have a friend who just pops caffeine pills during the day. I think it's like 40mg or something.....

I took half of one once and I was so freakin' wired. Of course, my caffeine intake is VERY low normally.

Take into conideration the amount of coffee/caffine you consume...I uausally drink 1 in the morning and 2 after dinner. Therefore, I find 1 wake-up keeps me functional, without the gitters for 4-6 hours. I find that wake-ups (little roster on the pack) work great. However, I recommend starting with a half and slowly increasing accordingly.

To stay awake and alert: I've struggled with Diet Coke addiction....not good for the teeth....but it kept me going. Now I do catnaps....get a loud alarm though so you don't oversleep....
I've tried herbal "stay awake" pills like Ma Huang and guarana, but depending from person to person, it might make you jittery or burn your stomach. I took two of an herbal mix, and I could feel my blood pounding, which was not good! Speed is speed, unfortunately.

Yeah, my friend works 2 jobs (one full time and one barely even part time) plus goes to school full time. She swears by stackers-but don't take those!!! These pills are very very bad for you!!! I am very disappointed that she results into taking these. =(

Yeah candy, I worked with a dancer who loved her Stackers. She was pretty health ignorant, like, a "lived on brown rice and cocaine" dieter........
I get a better caffeine fix from black tea, 2 cups equals 1 of coffee, and less bad breath.

Ahhh Provigil, the non-amphetamine stimulant. I have had a bit of experience with that one and I will say that it does help to keep one awake without that horrid "you're on speed" feeling, though if you are sleep deprived and you keep taking it you will end up feeling like absolute ass and then your eyeballs will feel like sand and then you won't be able to sleep when you really want to and then you never want to take it again. In moderation with DR's orders it is great.

Is there any way you could take a couple days to tweak your sleep schedule?
