I just read some club reviews on this website. I guess Bad Girls Platinum. Im ok with Stripping but I'm worried about the touching part. I mean what do Customers do? Just hold your breasts for ages or something? (maybe that sounds stupid but im curious ) If the club allows touching can you say 'no'.

you should have a look in afew clubs first as a customer...get a feel for it all...when i first started dancing, id NEVER even been to a club...not necessarily a good thing if your already having doubts.

usually if it is a touching club, guys will touch everywhere they possibly can...just lay down the law first.make sure they know the rules etc...

generally, you canT say no in a touching club...but a manager might be cool with you saying no on your first week till you get used to it? i dunno depends on managment

    Sparkle,

I have tried some clubs in Brisbane and to be quite honest with you, most of the layouts of the clubs weren't exactly what I feel comfortable dancing in. I tried a few for a couple nights each but kept moving on becuase I didn't like them.

Whatever you do, do NOT go to SCORES. It is a hell hole, full of skanky hoes. The Cabaret Club in the Valley is a bit of a seedy dive too. I think I went to bad girls as well but can't remember. I might also add that in Brisbane, most clubs take 50% of what you make which is hard to take and you have to give an A.B.N (Australian Business Number) for taxation reasons. On the Gold Coast, you pay a fee and the rest is yours in a few of the clubs like Crazy Horse, Hollywood Showgirls and Bad Girls. Players and Hooters take a percentage.

As far as touching is concerned, if you are going to work in a contact club you have to get used to it. By the end of the nights in Brisbane I thought my nipples were going to drop off because guys just wanted to tweak them all night. I don't think clubs will let you be different just because you don't want to be touched, and it will effect your money making if you tell the guy he can't - why would he go with you if he can touch all the other girls?

It's not that bad really. I prefer they touch my ass personally, but if they must touch my breasts then preferable not the nipple or just be gentle. Its okay to tell the guy to do this as far as I am concerned. And if the guy just sits there all through the dance with my tit in his hand not saying or doing anything, apart from sticking his hand in his wallet for more cash, then its fine by me too!

The only ones I would recommend to go to if you want to work in a nice, classy place would be Club Minx and Velvet Cigar. They are set out beautifully. Minx is quite small though, but if you work hard you should be able to make money and same with Velvet Cigar.

In Minx the hostesses collect the cash from the customer and write all the dances down. When your time is up, the hostess comes along and finishes your dance and asks if they want to keep dancing with you, which I think sometimes scares them off a bit. Most of the hostesses that were there when I was weren't very good at what they were doing, and actually quite intimidating because I feel you have more chance of continuing if you ask yourself just before the time is up.

Good luck with finding a good club to work at. If you are close enough, maybe try the coast. But most places in QLD will have touching, after the first few times you will be ok.

First of all.. THANK YOU for all your replies. This is probably this NICEST website I've been on!

Well yes, Im just concerned about the touching. Im a touchy feely person myself so I would take getting used to someone touching me for purely sexual reasons, although Im used to ass grabs. I stopped going clubbing for awhile as I was tired of getting my ass pinched/grabbed by guys who thought it was their right. (SURE if they were paying me i would let them but they weren't i was out with my friends) Im 18 by the way.
I went to one strip club, but it was too close to home. However there was NO touching watsoever. But the girls were allowed to get right up into the guys faces.. almost half a centimetre away but yes no touching.

I've always want to learn how to do pole dancing and earn more money in a few night than an 18 year old can earn working full time.

ALSO do people recognise you? My friend said that you hardly do get recognised by people you know when you dance.
Bad Girls Platinum on the club review was noted that they don't take much of your money except if you use their facilities.

ALSO what is it like BEING naked in front of LOTS OF ppl. Were you all nervous? Im always one to go skinny dipping and when I dance my friends always say 'you should SO be a stripper'... i've always had a facination with it. I do wear revealing clothes sometimes and get a kick out of stares and wolf whistles (as most women do).
Anyone who can answer any of my question would be good.

Depending upon how comfortable you are with people knowing what you are doing, it is best to distance yourself from home. Also, if you are too close to home and people know about your dancing, they might want to come in to your work and it could be distracting.

I thought I was far enough away from home where I started dancing on the Coast (home was half an hour away) and I worked a job at the same time as I started dancing in the same area. People started finding out about it VERY QUICKLY. And even people from home who I grew up with came into the club. The worst part is that my family to this day do not know and hopefully will not know. A couple of people swore to secrecy. There were a couple of times also that I knew who some people were but just ignored them as if I had never seen them. I got a few "you look familiar' comments but I just played with it, and told them I grew up in Melbourne or somethings. The poor guys had the most confused looks on thier faces!

If you dance too close to home, , there is a large chance that people will find out. People you never thought would go into a strip club actually DO go into strip clubs - the confrontation is a bit of an embarrassing one. People will talk, and especially because of your age they will emphasise their disappointment/ surprise/ worries for you dancing in this environment. People can be very judgemental and this hurts because they don't look at you the same way again once they know you have done this. The ones who don't accept you and criticise you unfairly are not worth having as friends. But if your family find out they will no doubt express concern.

Stripping is great if you do it the right way. Being young can be either an advantage or a disadvantage. Find what your greatest strengths as a dancer are and use this. If you are a mature 18 then this is good, if not then maybe wait a couple of years. Or get it together very quickly! Just my opinion. When I was dancing, the young 18 year olds annoyed me because of thier immaturity and were there to muck around more or less. You seem to want to do it on an experimental level because of things other people have said, and reactions from other guys, so I'm sure you will have fun but use your head girl. Make the bucks, save it and get ahead. It is not the same as being out at a club amongst heaps of other girls who are tarted up, because every girl is a stripper in there and they are all getting naked - guys don't know which way to look sometimes! It can be competitive and bitchy amongst the girls, but if you do the right thing, hustle and stay out of the dramas you will be fine.

You get used to the being naked in front of so many people after the first few times, it just becomes natural. Just as you get over being touched. I just shut off personally.

Just wanted to halt you about Bad Girls Platnium.... you can't dance there unless you've danced at one of the other Brisbane Bad Girls clubs for a certain period of time. You kinda have to "work your way up" to Bad Girls Platnium.... that's what I've heard.

I'll never work any Bad Girls clubs as they take a percentage. As for the Gold Coast... it is not what it used to be and if you can find work elsewhere.. that would be best. The only clubs worth checking out are Crazy Horse, Players and Hollywood Showgirls.

If you have any further questions about the Gold Coast -- feel free to PM or email me.

I caled in a Showgirls Brisbane one lunchtime. I've never heard anything bad about the club, only good things aside from the fact that they take a high percentage of what you earn. It seemed nice enough but the stage seems pretty impractical because it rotates and its quite high. I love doing stage and like to make money whilst on the podium, it struck me that this wouldn't happen at the Bris Showgirls too easilly though I could be wrong. No-one was tipping whilst I was there though there were quite a few people in the club. The manager told me that most girls they have there don't want to go on the stage, she said they get very busy and it's easy to make money, but everywhere says that so your best bet would be to either try it or go have a look one night.

I also don't know much about Showgirls except that they take a high percentage (anything around the 40-50% mark is high to me; 30% is more reasonable with anything under 30% being very welcomed)

I say "give it a go" for 5 nights in total then decide whether you will continue there or not. You will pretty much know by the 5th night (if not sooner) whether it is the right club for you or not.
