For brown eyes, try to make them pop with green eye shadows.
For eyeliner with MAC, no girl should live without smolder!!! The blackest black one, it's amazing!
I also have another one...can't think of the name off the top of my head, it's a cobalt blue colour...It's also really pretty (But I have blue eyes)
Green eyeshadows are a brown-eyed girl's best friend.
White eyeliners are also great on the lower outer rim of your eye for that innocent wide-eyed look.
Love eyeliners, won't work without them. Black liquid eyeliner with a winged effect for 'wow' eyes for impact.

as a blue-eyed blonde, I have experimented with coppery type colors before, but I don't know which eyecolors to wear them with.
I actually consulted the Mac website....this doesn't really help me though. I should go to the store.
Eye Shadow, Coppering
Shade Description: Hi-reflective orange copper (Veluxe Pearl)
Often purchased with
Eye Shadow, Plum Dressing
Eye Shadow, Antiqued
I would say that if you use the copper, then depending on the "look" you want go with:
Black...dramatic
Purple/violets/greens...subtly dramatic
Browns...more natural, less dramatic
It's not exactly the colors you use...but the way you apply the color. I've found that putting the bold color towards the inside of my eye and using that color to line my entire eye and then the copper on the lid gets the most dramatic results. With black, I use the copper on the lid and "accentuate" the outsides of my eyelids...lining the outer corners with the black and the inner corners with the copper.
Hope that helps.
For brown eyes...I have brown/green/gold hazel eyes...but try Melody (tealy green) with Orange and Rule (more muted, darker shade of orange).
Now, put Orange on the eyelid, hit the crease with Rule and then line your eyes with Melody.
OR you can use Rule with Swimming. Apply Rule over 3/4 of your eyelid (no color towards the inner eye/nose area) then in the area in which you didn't use Rule, you apply Swimming (the inner corners). With a wetted lining brush, you line with Swimming around the entire eye. Take a shimmery gold color (I use Physician's Formula, Touch of Gold) and highlight (lightly dust) the brow bone..finished looks like this:
The above works well with blue eyes as well...substituting colors Rule and Swimming for Pink Venus or Pink Freeze and Freshwater or Parrot.

wow venus...your eyes are amazing!! I have very blue eyes that are rimmed with a dark blue and my fav color is my Bed Head copper, makes my eyes stand out. my roommate has big brownish/green eyes and she uses a eyeliner from mac thats a green/teal and it looks really awesome!
Wow! I am always looking for eyeshadow shades to really make my blue eyes POP! So thanks everyone. Just the other day I picked up a the free Lancome gift at Macy's and in the little eyeshadow quad was a very pale green that looks surprisingly great and makes my eyes almost look aqua. GAWGEOUS! Check it out.
I tried a mint green eyeshadow yesterday for the first time ever - and i loved it!!!
I have red hair and blue eyes, and it really made my eyes stand out... never would have considered it before.

wow thanks Vaden for posting that!! I wear blue contacts over my brown eyes...I wonder if this color would compliment my contacts? Probably a stretch...![]()

I have been using 'Violet' by mac and a green shade that I think is called moss and they both make my eye's stand out. The green shade brings out little flecks of green that I have in my eyes(Ive got blue eyes) so blue eyed girl's try using green eyeshadow.
Another pretty shade is 'copper sparkle'.

Also, I use mac eyeliner in 'teddy' and I LOVE IT. It looks dramatic and sexy and it's easy to apply and stays on.
Out of all the shades of eyeliner I have tried this is my very favorite and I will never stop using it.

Vaden, you should post a photo of your eye (similar to venus') using the coppering eyeshadow. I went and picked it up today. I'm diggin' it.
I went to Mac to check out this shadow and I think something is not right. I looked like I had conjunctivitis. I felt bad that she spent the time putting it on, so I bought nailpolish.
Here's a picture....I still have it on (gosh this is a very unflattering picture of my nose)
