    "Pussy" LORDS OF ACID

These are the only two I can think of right now.

Having had the pleasure of working with more than one "Naughty Little Pussycat", each of whom bore their subtitle with feline grace and assurance, I have found a few good ones for this...

    "Wicked Pussycat" Danzig
    "Pussycats" Mya
    "Kitty-Kitty" 69Boyz

    of more dubious value is

"Pussycat" Missy Elliot--I can't recall her saying "cat" anywhere in this one, lol
    "Pussycat" Wyclef Jean

The Wyclef Jean track might be good for bringing you onstage, if you have hip-hoppers in the house, or as a quick intro for 20 seconds, it is a funny play-off the old Tom Jones song "Pussycat", from a really old movie.

If you have a bunch of geriatric guys, you could go with the Tom Jones original, but I would only use this as a quick sound bite to bring you onstage with.

By far the best sound bite, with an excellent meow, is the beginning of "Pussycat Meow" (it might just be called "Pussycat"--someone stole my CD), by Dee-Lite, the same group that did "Groove is in the Heart".

Ok here is one from the old school folder that i didnt see listed and I only play for good little kitties I work for.Real top shelf shit here!

    Prince-batdance(vikki Vale mix)

Very classic prince stuff, funky and thumping, good energy and easy to dance to with kewl parts for floor work and pole work.Great remix!
Has a chorus of girl singing "I love Batmaaaaaaaaaan"and sound bites from Jack Nicholson.
The album version and the other mixes suck, but this one is Primo and will give you a "cat song"that hasnt been beaten to freekin death by a zillion girls.

Its on the prince Batdance cd single at tower records if you cant find it anywhere else.
Heres one on ebay for less then a buck right now and if ya type in prince batdance you can find 15-20 of them on ebay.

there's always the old standbys of "Stray Cat Strut" by the Stray Cats, "Kitty" by Presidents Of The USA, "Cat Scratch Fever"-The version by Pantera kicks more ass, "Kitten's Got Claws" by Whitesnake. "Black Cat" by Janet was mentioned, and that usually works really well, even if it is a bit overdone. (if you use the janet song make sure to get the actual album version....it has a panther snarl at the beginning that works GREAT. the version from her "design of a decade" hits album doesnt have the noise). I also had a girl do a feature show once to Bowie's "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)" and it worked because she worked the hell out of the song, but I'm humming it to myself right now and i dont know if he ever actually says anything about cats at all. also, the soundtrack to the Catwoman movie seems fairly hard to find, (at least i have never seen it in stores), but i know the version of LOA's "Pussy" has more "meows" and such in it apparently.

Who cares if it says anything about cats--this is a fantastic song...

I had forgotten all about this one, but I remember watching the movie before I ever DJed, and the songis very powerful--the movie is good, too. Now I will definitely make sure I get it.
