I have started taking pro makeup classes, and my instructor introduced us to a wonderful product called 'Velvet Veil,' designed to be used under foundation. It's like a canvas primer - great stuff. They sell it on Makeup Artists' Choice (Veronika posted the URL earlier -I'll have to look it up). It's not for oily skin - the product you want to use if you have oily or comibination skin is called 'Ulti-matte.' Makeup rulz - it can transform a 6-7 into a 9-10 if you use the proper techniques and products. I love makeup!

I've always wanted to take makeup classes, I do a good job but I can always get better. How did you find out about that it sounds awesome. About the original question, I put on makeup before I go to work and I apply lipgloss frequently and then about halfway through the shift I put on another layer of eyeshadow and eyeliner refresh any concealer on a blemish and away I go off to make more $.

I used to put hairspray on my eyes (closed of course) to keep my frosty eye makeup on. Sometimes it helps if you have a friend do it for you dont wanna spray too much though very lightly.

Staying in the Champagne Lounge all night. heh

If I'd start to get a little sweaty, I'd go upstairs and re-touch up the make-up...brighten it up...then put a light coat of pressed powder on. It seems that when I wear MAC, I don't need to do that as much. The make-up just sticks.

Blotter papers for shine instead of re-applying powder. The Chinese rice paper is ok, BLOTS are good.I carry them in my purse and blot right out on the floor.

I also put concealer (Physcian's Formula or Lancome) under my eye makeup and never have to reapply.

I use Tropez bronzer with those little mica crystals in them. I think its meant for ethnic skin tone but a little for me is good for sun-kissed and stays on well.

I always color my eyebrows for work with brow pencil, not shadow it won't rub off. Even though they are light and so is my hair now, darker well shaped brows can completely change a face. Look at Catherine Zeta-Jones in early photos vs. when she got really famous = wow!
