    Default Jessica is home.

    The sex offender list.
It can be found on the internet under sex offender list for every state.
It even breaks it down into county and actual address of the offender and the crime they were charged with.

Do you have a pedophile living next door to you that you didnt know about or one living at the end of your street, just in front of the school bus stop?

IMO I dont think this program is working and the system is fucked up.
I dont think we treat sex offenders as we should.I think the penalty should be a little more strict.

My heart aches for the family.
The sack of shit that did this deserves to die.

This IMO is why the death penalty is justified and i really hope they deal that card to this guy.

They will get him in prison either formally or informally.

I cannot understand why class 3 sex ofenders are not regularly psychologically tested as a condition of their not being in prison. And why they are not under parole for the rest of their lives.

But in Florida things are not too tight. Or bright for that matter.

These matters, all of them, make me ill, sad, and very cynical of our 'justice system'.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Oo thanks Muyaha....pics and addys is a great idea.
Yes, I do think that states laws should be harder on sex offenders. The person who hurt me (10 years ago)is now out of college leading a normal life. Never went to jail either. He just was sentenced to a bunch of counseling and community service.
Just awful to think that with a few hard slaps on the wrist people like those can be released into society living normal lives then alluva sudden flip out and have some sort of sexual episode. Eventhough, you cant give someone a bigger sentence just because you have a hunch they might hurt someone again (unless they are a murderer) it would be better if they took these types of crimes more seriously.
People like that guy are sadly only a matter of time before they do it again. I hope he gets what he deserves.

Pedophelia is incurable. It would probably cost less to house pedophiles away from society than what the goverment spends on prosecuting them when they harm and kill little kids.

Putting them in jail for 10-15 years isnt the cure, its just passing it on to the next generation of kids when they get out.

    Scary stuff.

I just checked the state SO registry and queried the search to just include my home town. There were 27 men on it whom were there for "indecent liberties with a child" or "aggrivated indecent liberties with a child", and that does NOT include those on it for "indecent solicitation of a child" or "attempted indecent liberties of a child".

I don't have any kids myself but needless to say, I'm glad I moved out of my old neighborhood.

I wonder how often these 27 men have been checked on??
I wonder if they still live where they say they do??

Who's job is it to watch these people, and can that actually even be done???
It would take an army of parole officers just to cover your 27.

Its a hole in the system that needs fixing.

I dont think a lynch mob rounding up all the old offenders would settle to well with the PC crowd, but i do think new penalties should be set in place on a federal level for anyone ever convicted of it again.

A lynch mob would be a great idea round em all up. Thats another story....
Here in SD they were talking on the news that this guy who was a sex offender lives right next to a elementary school ( i think it was an elementary school) as soon as people found out they wanted him to move. Needless to say with their efforts I dont think he moved.
Why would they let any sex offender live next to a school its like putting chocolate next to an obese person and telling them not to touch.

I know the guy that killed Jessica has had many offenses usually most sex offenders will go as far as they can go.

Youre right MnM theres a big hole in this system. No follow-ups, physicological re-evalutions, or even yearly check ups on their new lifesytle. Nothing of the sort. This loop hole is a small glitch compared to homeland security right now and everything is put on the back burner.

At the end of the street. In front of the stop sign on the corner. Rapist, though, not pedophile.

News said there are about 1,000,000 convicted sexual offenders out there. (I bet there is a lot more to that description and statistic.) If we jailed them all permanently, that would greatly increase our prison space. Where would we build them. "Not in my backyard." Leaving them out there is a very scarey thing. But we must do a LOT more.

If so, this is a huge issue that is completely inadequately resolved. How do people get to be such monsters? Can we do more for them for detection, prevention, 'cure', virtual prison?

But there are a lot more than sex offenders out there who also pose a great risk to any or all of us including persistent drunk drivers, drug addicts, armed robbers, violent psychotics. Which will do it again? How do we decide? Do we keep them all in jail forever just in case?

This is a much bigger issue than the current congressional emergency session last weekend.

What is scary is I checked my states megan laws website for listings in my area. For everyone in CA this is the link ----> http://www.meganslaw.ca.gov/
There is a group what I'm thinking is a half way house of sometype with 10 offenders at the same address different apt. numbers.

Oh to add there's another trial starting of a little girl that was killed and sexually molested back in 2002. This guy had numerous priors regarding molestion even charges that were dropped on him for whatever reason. What gets me now that the trial is starting more girls that were molested by him are coming forth.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

I agree ,I was watching a program that said we have Martha Stewart wearing this tracking device on her ankle why dont they make these manditory for these type of people( pedophiles) that way they can be tracked and watched and when something goes wrong they can track there every move .Or possibly prevent them from doing wrong I just dont get these people and I have no concept of understanding them , they should be exterminated . Naw, the death sentence is too good for them!

I think if they are convicted and they serve their time in jail, one condition of their release is physical castration. I don't even mean chemical either. I mean chop their nuts off and make them enuchics. (sp)

That way they can't ever do it again.

This wouldn't work. Just cuz the guy doesn't have a penis, etc doesn't mean that he can no longer rape little kids.

Pedophiles get off, not on having sex with little kids, but on the power they feel over making little kids succumb to their wants/needs/desires. It's a power play...not a need for sex.

Pedophiles should be given the death sentence. No life in prison...no parole...no chance at doing it again, in most cases, for the 50,000th time.

C'mon...you KNOW that it's because it would infringe upon the paroled pedophile/rapists' rights to personal freedom. They've done the time for their crime and should be given the freedom to roam about and enjoy it.

No one cares about the fact the 90% of all rapists/pedophiles commit their trademarks within 2 months of springing from jail. No one cares that it has been proven that going to jail does not rehabilitate a sex offender.

So I guess the only option is extermination ! I dont think I would have a problem with flipping the switch !

The government should try electro-shock therapy on pedophiles. And relocate them far away from society. In my county, they kicked out a chemical castrated pedophile because... well, for all its "American Gothic" goodness, my county won't stand for any kind of sexual predators around kids.
As grim as it seems, we have to be open with kids as to why they need to be careful around strangers. You know how all the old fairy tales, like "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Hansel and Gretel" seem so messed-up to modern society now? Well, hundreds of years ago, that was how kids were warned of predators.
We gotta look out for other people's kids too. Back in the day, people used to say their parents knew if they did something bad before they got home because some other parent already told them. America is really fractured, but I can't see anyone being opposed to "Neighborhood Watch"-type supervision for kids.

What I meant by castration is cutting the BALLS off. If you take away nuts in a mean dog, they dog naturally is MUCH easier to get along with.

    Same principal.

If you cut a guys nuts off, they are much more docile, and have little to NO desires for sex, fighting, beer, etc.... (all the traditional guy stuff)

I think this would work very well, and if it doesn't then kill 'em all!!!!

It's really funny that you brought this up. I was watching "Law & Order SVU" last night (old episode on USA) and this exact thing happened.

One of these rapist had an ankle thingies on, and kept taking it off at night and putting it on his cat, so he could go out and do whatever.

I think if they were to put the ankle thingies on them, some of these guys would do exactly what this TV guy did.

I say castrate them!!! Make them eunichs!

Well, if the pedophile/rapist does what he does for the feeling of power/control, whatever, then castrating them will do nothing. It's not the "urge for sex" that drives them, but the urge for power and control. Sickos.

Instead of the ankle thingys...which can and have been removed...they should be surgically tagged. Like the cats and dogs are...with some kind of tracking/identifying device. The nice thing about those things, in my mind, is that you can track them at all times. Having the device transmit exact time and location of the offender would take a lot of "problems" out of the whole alibi scenario. The other thing is that ALL inmates should have to give a full DNA profile...blood typing...fingerprinting. Which goes into a database. That way, prosecuters don't have to fuck around in court trying to get the judge to order testing. If it matches, matches and they can kiss our ass. Criminals have no rights.

Criminals who commit violent acts should be given ONE more chance. If they fuck up, again, then they should just be put down. What's more illogical? Putting down one person who continually chooses to violate the greater society? Or allowing those people to continue upping the number of victims?

Shooting squad...electric chair...lethal injection. Who cares? The most important thing is getting rid of them.

While I do agree, this might work; it's a little too Biblical "Mark of the Beast" for me. Or at the very least "Big Brother".

Gotta think that every once in a while they get it right in the Middle East:

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_r...p-250417c.html

    Justice Iranian style

    By DEREK ROSE
    DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

The convicted killer receives 100 lashes at the whipping post.

The huge crowd applauded each lash of the whip.
"Harder, harder!" the crowd yelled, as pain etched on the Iranian child-killer's face from the merciless flogging.

Three times Mohammad Bijeh collapsed against the iron post, his back raw and bloodied.

"Hit him harder, the bastard," yelled Ali Khosravi, whose 10-year-old son was murdered and burned by the serial killer called the "vampire of the desert."

After the 100th and final lash, Bijeh was untied and led off the podium. A teenager darted forward, slashing Bijeh with a knife before police pulled him away.

The boy had sought revenge because his brother was one of the 17 young boys Bijeh had drugged, raped, killed and left to rot in the desert. He ate the leg of one of his victims.

Milad Kahani, the mother of another of the dead, slapped Bijeh several times and cursed at him while slipping a blue nylon noose around his neck.

The arm of a crane then lifted forward. Bijeh was raised from the earth. The crowd roared.

This was no swift death for the man who had killed so many in the dusky village of Pakdasht; the hanging had not snapped his neck. He jerked this way and that, before finally becoming still.

Some women burst into tears, crying out the names of their lost children.

True...however, I don't think I would ever mind the government being "too big brother" on criminals.

Pan Dah...what a horrible way to die. I wonder why we do not do that here.
