    Default Sharing outfits

I was wondering how many of you all wear your own outfits and how many of you have to share outfits? The club I work at we can bring our own or we can share. I have a lot of my own outfits but seems like another dancer always has something I wanna wear lol.

I only share with my 2 friends that work there, and by friends I mean we are tight outside the club. If a new girl comes in and doesn't have anything to wear I'll give her an outfit of mine to keep if she wants..I have plenty and I don't wear them all.

When I was in Alaska, me & the housemom shared outfits. She would let one other girl wear them, but I would let her borrow mine if she wanted.

OOOOhhhhh this brings back a bad memory! One time I let a new girl borrow a pair of shoes had only worn them a few times - shiny 6" red patent leather slides with really cool ankle straps.

THe little tart got wasted, flipped out, cut my new shoes off with a steak knife and ran out of the club. I kid you not.

I had to go out and buy red grosgrain ribbon and make grecian style ankle wraps to keep wearing them. I still have them and sort of cricnge every time I look at them.

That aside, I used to share stuff all the time. It gets boring wearing the same stuff. I would always get the stuff back at the end of the night though - dirty or not. You lose too much stuff letting it go outside the club.

although i've only been doing it for a little while, I would say no, at least not regularly. It just seems like you'd lose too much stuff or have it wrecked (accidentally or not).

I don't share with anyone anymore.
my best girlfriend borrowed my favorite outfit .... she got drunk and lost the top!

i love her but, they don't make that costume anymore!
she paid me back but, it just wasn't worth the frustration to try to be sharing.

I share, too. But if they want to keep it for the next day or take it outside the club I tell them they can buy it or give it back.

I also "rent" outfits to girl who I don't know. $10 a night for outfits/shoes

I only lend out clothing to girls I've known for a while. I keep a notebook of names, dates, and outfits. I almost never lend out shoes, and I NEVER lend out underwear. I have way too many outfits to need to borrow, however... LOL!

I really don't do much of either borrowing or sharing, but a lot of girls at my club do.

I agree w/Chad! I know of someone who got hepatitis, the bad one, thru this. That aside, I have a dear friend, have lent her numberous books, tapes, tshirts, even a special cleaning product, have NEVER set eyes on them again...

I've shared two outfits. The first I leant to a girl that I worked with all the time and was sure I'd get it back - she quit before I saw her next. The second was to a girl that still works there. I ask her all the time about it, and still haven't got it back. Never again will I let someone borrow anything.

Loaning anything to girls at work is stupid. Only an idiot would lend things out. Now I might sell something, more often to new girls who are just starting out.

    With rare exceptions, no.

    Why ?

Well, because even your best friend can have an accident and spill something or get burned with a cigar or cig ect. ect ; and it's always worse when something of your own gets ruined while being borrowed or used by someone else.

I try to avoid as many (possible) bad situations at work as I can. Better safe than sorry is my motto when it comes to this industry anyway

I used to with my best friend, but since she quit dancing, I don't share with anyone. People can't fit my stuff anyway, lol. The last time I let a girl borrow a cute little pink outfit and she stretched it out so much I ended up giving it to her for $20.

Well, I don't think it's stupid because you never know when you might need something from someone. I forgot my shoes at home the other day and a dancer lent me her extras because I had lent her something in the past. Without her, I would have had to pay a cab to go home and then back to work and pay a late fee.
I always try to make sure that I get my stuff back and others get theirs back. I have many many outfits so I usually don't borrow from anyone, but there are times when I am bored with mine and I will swap with someone else. I NEVER EVER lend out thongs, I don't need to take that chance.
And I try to only llend to girls my size, I've had things stretched out in the past was well, but at least they've always offered to buy the outfit.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

I do lend a lot of outfits, with the stipulation that I have to get them back at the end of the night, and if anything happens to it, the girl has to pay for the outfit. So far, I have had good luck.

I'm glad I have friends like I do then..lol. They've never not given anything back. I can't even give them a dollar without them making me take one back from them. Besides my best friend and I keep our stuff together anyway, we ride to work together anyway.

I lend out clothes, but never my favorite stuff. If something happens, oh well, I was never going to wear it again anyways. I have a friend I've known for 6 years that I dance with and her and I always share back and forth. Her and I have a rule though, we can never wear anything real new. We've traded outfits for a week and then we exchange them back. Although, one time she was wearing my fishnet shirt I loved and some drunk guy ripped it while he was assaulting her. That's not her fault and I was able to buy another one (she actually bought me another one 'cause she was so sorry about it).

I dont mind loaning out my outfits. If anything happens to them, then they will have to pay for them. There will always be something cuter to where out there. And a lot of my outfits are hand made. I can make anytime, so I really dont mind. It only takes one time for someone to screw me over though.
