No visas Just on a 3 month visa waiver as a visitor.

I have a visa and a license here in Canada/Toronto though, that was easy to get. Not for the States though, they don't seem to like foriegners....

Maybe you could double check with your manager on the policies for me London and let me know?? Normally they won't send that info in an email.

    Thanks for the help ladies

Since this thread has the SoCal peeps in it, do any of you have any information on Showgirls in Cathedral City/Palm Springs area?

And another club I am looking for but can't seem to find any information on is a club called Showtime, a bikini club in San Bernardino.

I am looking for information from people, especially entertainers, who have worked at these clubs, or at least been to them.

I couldn't find any info on the Z Bone webby for either of them.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm also moving to California, this November with one of my girl friends. Los Angeles or Hollywood. I'd like to work at a nude club. Are all california clubs such high house fee/tip out rates?

The club I work at now is kind of high. Out of the $20 lapdance the house takes $7. A 3rd of the dances in the Erotic Loft. $20 house fee, plus tip out of 3 managers, the floor guys and DJ. Plus they are always trying to overcharge you, if they know your not keeping track.

I would reconsider staying in the state your in. Unless you are moving here for other reasons than to dance. That is a cheap tip-out IMO.

I like CA though for the scenery and its relaxed style. Other than that I think Im going to look at other states to live after Im done w/ my JC.

Really depends on where you work Lovespell. It varies so much here all up and down the state. I would say come and visit w/ your friend to CA stay somewhere near the area youd like to live and visit some of the clubs. Thats good for starters if you havent done it already.

Basically, the goal is to get OUT of my state. I really hate Minnesota. I want to live somewhere more exciting, keep dancing and saving up for school. (I want to be a heart surgeon)

California isn't set in stone, but it's a big big option right now. Who knows where I'll end up though. Just feeling very restless right now.

Hey what about FL? If you like sunshine and dont mind hurricanes might be a good option. But, if you dont mind earthquakes then CA is cool too. Weve been having alot lately...like tiny ones mostly in the southern part.

Oh yea..Krs..when I get some info Ill be sure to PM ya some of what I found out.

I'm definitly looking for warm, beachy weather. Things like hurricanes/earthquakes don't seem so bad compared to these damn cold Minnesota winters!

    Here's what I'm looking for (maybe) :

    *Moderate mileage, preferably nude.
*Laid-back atmosphere (not necessarily a neighborhood bar but not a GC either. Mid-scale.)
*Relatively low flat-rate tip-out (I HATE when they take a percentage of your laps. That's just wrong.)

I don't want to work in a club where I get in trouble for violating the 'six-foot rule' onstage (i.e. once your top is off, you must remain six feet from the edge of the stage. WTF is that??), or for getting too close or grinding too much during dances.
However, neither do I want to work in a club where the standard "thank you" after the 6th lap is a HJ or BJ. I'm okay with contact, but I would like Mr. Happy to stay in your pants. No digital penetration either, please.

There must be a happy medium somewhere, right?

I'm only moderately cute, so I need a fairly low-key club where the competition is not terribly fierce. I can hold my own as a hustler and all, and I give an excellent dance once I've made the sale, but still....

I know that clubs in L.A. and O.C. suck, but does this sound at all familiar?
    CP? ...Anyone?

It's just a tough town, Krys. Lots of beautiful girls, and the clubs tend to be, in my experience, either too restrictive or waaaayyyy too lenient. I've never found a happy-medium club, but then I haven't looked very hard. L.A. is a soulless, hideous place, and if you're a smart, down-to-earth girl with a good heart, I'd recommend staying away. Really. Something is different out here, and the vibe is malevolent. I still haven't quite figured out what this is all about, but I will say that I LOVED dancing back east, and up in Alaska, while I HATED dancing in southern California. That should tell you something.

Again, I haven't tried every club, by any means, and it's been quite awhile since I've even visited a SC out here. From everything I hear, though, the mileage in most clubs is very high, the dancers tend to push the envelope in order to compete, and the money is highly inconsistent.

But CP knows far more about all this than I do--at least from a customer's perspective.

There are a few alternatives for you now, including two that may surprise you. I've made these recommendations before, but I'll do so again.

First, there's Spearmint Rhino in Torrance. I know, it's the fucken Rhino, but it's not, really. It's the anti-Rhino. Because it is a topless club that serves alcohol, management makes its money from the drinks and not by raping the dancers' split. A very reasonable stage fee, plus low tip out means you keep most of what you make...no dancer drinks, no hardcore hustle, no overcounting songs or having to blow the floater to get a fair shake. Not a bad place to hang out, and very low mileage...go ahead and grind away, but you cannot be in that spot for more than three seconds...interaction is all dancer initiated, custys keep their hands in the "safe" zones on a dancer's bod.

Second, the new Deja Vu in the City of Industry. Nude, and once again, even though the Vu is the Darth Vader of corporate stripping, they're still trying to flesh out the dancer rosters, so tipout is miniscule. Definitely more contact, but it is at whatever level you're comfy with. If you like fluid exchange, that can be accomodated; if it's just a little heavy petting, okay, and even gals who offer little to no customer-initiated activity are still making some money here.

Finally, there's Imperial Theater in Anaheim. Even though it is behind the Orange Curtain, it is a nude that isn't that uptight. All lapdances are fully clothed and $10 apiece; either singly out in the front room, or in an inital block of 5 for $50 in the VIPs. There is moderate two-way contact in the VIPs, enough to keep custys like me coming back for more but not so much you want to rinse your mouth with Clorox when you get home. Most girls dancing there really seem to enjoy the atmosphere.

As always, have fun, play safe, and feel free to PM me if you want more intimate details.

Since there has been a lot of discussion about ITA on this thread, I thought I would chime in with some personal experience about this place. Since I am in the process of looking for a new club, I went there last week to check it out. First, while it is true that you need a license to work in Anaheim, you don't actually need the license b/4 you work your first shift there. The manager explained that they will set up an appointment for you to obtain the license, and as long as you have an appointment it is OK for you to work there. The fee for the license is $10 BTW. As it turned out though, I actually worked a shift there and the manager never asked me about making an appointment. I'm not sure how long you could get by like that, though.

The manager, staff, and other dancers are all very personable and welcoming. They all seem to mesh together very well, and there seems to be a minimum of drama and conflict. The dancers tend to be on the younger side (like 18-23), and most seem like OC college students. There is ample covered parking space, and you are protected walking to and from your car. The mileage at this club is pretty tame, and is exactly like what Chili described.

Those are the positive aspects of ITA that I observed. Now here are the downsides. First, I didn't really care for most of the customers I saw. I would say at least 50% of the customers were ESL, mostly Mexicans and various Asians. A lot of the Mexican customers didn't really speak any English at all, they would just speak to you in Spanish. So, if you don't speak any Spanish at all, it would probably be difficult to interact with this segment. I also overheard some guys asking a dancer about "sexo" in the $50 VIP room. You can see how this could get to be trying on a regular basis.

Keep in mind I worked on a Saturday, and sometimes paradoxically the customer base can be worse at certain clubs on the weekends, as opposed to weeknights. I think this dynamic might have been at play, and I heard several dancers saying the same thing. So, it's possible that this night was an aberration. This also probably isn't the best nude club to work at on the weekends b/c it closes at 2 am. Ideally, you want to work somewhere that stays open until 4 to take advantage of the afterhours crowd, and have an extra 2 hours to make money.

I probably won't be working here on a regular basis, only b/c I already commit 4 days a week to the 2 evil corporate clubs where I am currently working. I guess my recommendation would be to try this club, but maybe on the weeknights. This club does seem to have a devoted customer base, I just didn't see much evidence of it the night I worked. But, the attitude of the staff and dancers was exceptionally friendly and positive, and in this industry that is enough to make it unique.

If you do come here on a weekday, just be mindful of the traffic. The two freeways that intersect around this club (the 91 and the 5) have notoriously heavy traffic depending on your direction and the time of day.
