So I was at the casino on Jan. 20 and I joined a poker tournament. The buy in was $100, with 11 players.. The winner took $600. So we're playing and everything's going great.. I was the only girl at the table and the guys were looking at me like "what the hell are you doing here" as if i was a dumb girl who didn't know what I was doing. Anyways, the game goes on and 3 people get eliminated.
I am down to $4 (started with $40). I am in the big blind, which was $4 - so it's all or nothing for me. Ok, sure.. I got a good hand, and no one knew it because I had no more money to bet with. I won the hand - Yay! Now everyone's thinking that it's beginners luck.. Sure, guys, whatever!
Next 3 hands, I go all in with exellent cards and win, ending up with $48. So then, I get two pocket kings. I check, and only one more guy is left in the hand. You can tell he's "all that" because he's got his beard, sunglasses, hat, sweater.... Ok.. he raises $20, And I call. Now I have like $24 or so left. I didn't want to go all in because I had won the last 4 hands all in, and was kinda scared to let it all go to waste in case I lost.
The flop comes, and it's king, ten, eight. Ok, I have 3 kings!.. Slow playing it like a dumbass, I check, and the guy puts me all in! ok whatever, I call.. It's all or nothing again! He shows his 10, ace, I show my two kings.. Great! He has a measly pair of tens and I have three kings! Next card: 10!
Now I have a full house, and he has three tens. RIVER COMES, and it's an ace.
Guy has: full house, 3 tens and two aces
I have: full house, 3 kings and two tens!
The table supervisor declared the guy the winner, and i walked away with no argument. But it eats me up inside, to think that I should've been the one to win!
Please, poker enthusiasts, help me! Put me at ease and tell me who you think had the better hand!
Now, in the case that I was the one who should've won, is there anything I can do?
Arg! I'm losing sleep over this!

We consult a poker rule book when there is uncertainty...no one loses more than $20-100.

I haven't paid for a casino meal in years over just asking for comps. You have a players card and they know you (even if it is just in the computer) and you'll be treated very well.
