Default Makeup Thread for Green/Hazel Eyes

I'm hazel green with gold. They are closer to grey around the edges but certainly not as amazing as Venus (wow!)

At Sephora in Vegas, I got some badass colors. Urban Decay "Crash", which is a dark purple with glitter in it. For blending, I love "Chopper", which is a glittery beige. Its not quite copper or gold and it also goes great by itself.....

I'll get some photos posted soon.

Colors I like to bring out the green are jade green, deep purple, light lavender, and golden beiges.......

    I also like:
    Too Faced "Vixen"
    The Body Shop 31
    Nars "Night Fairy"

I am very open to eyeliner/eyepencil suggestions. Right now I take an angled brush and line the purple under the eyes........

I prefer to stay away from eyeliners/eye pencils. I have a few, but for the most part, I use a wetted make-up brush and whatever color eyeshadow. Not only does it stay better, but it blends and matches better as well. For a completely professional finish.

The angled brush is good for "smudged" eyes. Smuged eyes, though, tend to make your eyes look smaller. If you want your eyes to pop, then you should use the liner brush (wet). The lines are more precise and thinner, so it'll add enough color to draw attention to your eyes. Using bright colors in the corners--by your nose and then using an eye pencil on the inside outer corners (like a silver/white/etc) will help open up your eyes. Having bold colors will add to the pop factor.

The best colors I have are all mostly colors that are considered "contrasting" to hazel eyes. I don't play by those rules. I don't consider NOT using blues because I have hazel eyes. Remember, it's not the colors that you use, but the way that you apply them and blend them that make the difference.

I am using a liquid liner right now and loving it! I must say I have gotten pretty smooth at applying it for a beginner. I gotta go get some new eyeshadow though - MAC is good right?

I have hazel eyes, and have been meaning to get a purple to bring out the green more. I'll look for 'Crash' the next time I'm in Sephora, it sounds really cool.

I have... I guess crayola color jungle green eyes. Eye Shadows that look good on me are browns (with no orange in them) pinks, purples, very few greens. Pretty much anything opposite of green on a color wheel.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Mine are fun... closest to the pupil is brown, then gold, then green, then grey. I use a lot of blacks, golds, greens, reds, and wine when it comes to eye makeup... more black than everything, but then again I _AM_ the gothgirl, yis?

I hate the fact that EVERY picture I get taken makes my eyes look black or dark brown! Woe. Angst. Cry.

Grapevine by Jane is a good shimmery deep purple. Fiction by MAC is very nice.

Alright, I have been doing the Mystic and tanning recently so my skin is fairly dark. I needed new makeup to match, so I went to MAC, my new favorite place to spend money.

I bought the Gleam and Mythology eyeshadows and they really make my already very green eyes stand out. I use Gleam along my upper lash line and inner corners to open my slightly deep set eyes and Mythology in the outer corners and alond the lower lash line. Gleam is a pinky gold shimmer and Mythology is a coppery color.

On my didital you can see the colour of my eyes, IF the lights are right. Cam does nothing for eye colour i have learned.

Also i don't know what colour to wear for light eyes, blues look like too much blue, maroon family makes them look tired for some reason, kinda bloodshot looking, browns seem to work the best. Oh and i wear alot of dark colours, blacks and browns, i notice if i wear lighter clothes my eyes are better seen by people....Strange, i thought it was all in the make-up. Also darker hair makes them look their colour too i have noticed.

PS i know aht you mean Paige, this was taken in my window, out of bed no maake-up so you can see my natural colour if we are outside talking, only window light.....not sure what the bump is...position of a finger maybe, as i have dry eye, and the damn bright crap hurts...
