Sad HELP! To Cover A Wound....

Ok I need some advice... *angst*

The Dr thinks I have skin cancer. Today I had a good portion of it removed from my mid back (to be biopsied). The remaining wound is about the size of a nickle or so... and painful. They didnt feel the need to cauterize it, but I have to keep it covered and use bacitracin. Now... tomorrow I have work at the bar. 14 hours. It's a topless club and the customers dont react well if you dont get down to the ol' thong. What should I do? I cant keep it exposed, especially in a dirty bar.

Should I use a standard, flesh-colored bandaid, if it's big enough?

Should I be funky and find a bandaid in a fun color or pattern?

Or should the customers be damned and keep a dress or somesuch on and just expose the bewbs on my second songs/dances?

I wish I could afford to just not work....

    Ow.

Oh my Goodness. And Goddess. I'm praying for you, Paige!
Keep the dress on top of the bandage. You don't want to risk a patch that size getting infected. You can make up a cute little story if needs be (my cat scratched me, new tattoo, bruise, etc.)
    Best wishes and thoughts.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers...

I agree with Maxine, a cute story will work wonders for the bandage.

Can you wear a corset or waist cincher that will cover it?

I hope everything turns out ok.

I wouldnt be able to expose the bewbage with my corsets, they're all full-bust. I can see if my cincher would cover it and not irritate it... not positive if its high enough on my back. Good idea though!!!!

    Paige-
I was burned in a car accident and use a silicone pad to cover my scar while it heals. I use the ones from Neosporin- they are like $40 for a box I think, but come in 28 sheets and I wear each for a little less than a week. They are the perfect size and are flesh colored. Ask your doc if these are ok though as they "stick: to the wound to help skin heal.

Maybe you could wear a kinda librarian/secretary look, and wear a skirt and thigh-highs with a button-down shirt that you could slowly unbutton, and then leave on. Then the guys could see boobies, and you could keep your back covered!
