    Default Anyone Wear Coloured Contacts????

Did a search, couldn't find anything ... When I danced I did better when I wore green contacts (naturally brown). In the dark clubs my pupils expanded and the coloured speckles blured my vision - highly annoying. I could't see properly so I gave them up. Has anyone had this problem, or is there a better brand and type of contacts. I wore Freshlook.
I'd be grateful for any advice, or tips on a better brand.

Try Acuvue 2 colored contacts. We have 4 or 5 girl who wear colored contacts at work and they never complain about that.

*note* I had to ask them 1st before I posted this.

I’m not sure what brand I have lol.. but mine were fitted by an optometrist and I have NO problems.

Did you get yours from an eye doc or one size? That may have been the problem.

If I recall, color contacts come in a limited variety of diameter. So sometimes your pupil/iris will not fit well with the size, even though the prescription strength, if necessary, is available for all needs.

The tinted contacts I had were a little too big for my little eyes, so sometimes you could see a hint of the contact go beyond the upper part of the iris. No one ever mentioned seeing anything though.

As far as colored contacts for work, its usually so dark its hard to see. Although my eyes are green, they just look really dark unless I stick a candle to my face. Tinted contacts didn't affect earnings, I just got too many people getting my face at the grocery store asking if my eyes were real. Perhaps deeply colored contacts would work, especially contrasted with dark features.

I tried on those Freshlook Radiance once in one of the greenish shades. They didn't seem to have much affect on the eye color, except the outline was very bright and glittery.....

Those Radiance ones in Moonlight made me look like a zombie. Creepy in a bad way. Blech. I can't imagine that colored contacts would effect earnings that much but maybe I say that because I have naturally blue eyes. I already get asked if me eyes are real (I tell them I stole them from a corpse half the time... at least when the girls ask).

Darker girls with the gray contacts I find striking in the club lights, tho. That seems to make the only impact one me.

For comfort and fit, I am with the Acuvue 2 people. World of difference since I switched.

After the movie,"Big Trouble In Little China" came out,I got green contacts to look like the woman in the movie.I got a tremendous amount of compliments on them.

I've been pulling off the whole blue eyed thing for a while now. I have brown eyes from baby time though. They do blur my vision a little but that's when i know it's time to take them out for the night!!

I just saw this post so I thought I'd give you my input. I wear freshlook colorblends (my eyes are very dark brown). I only have trouble with them when i first start wearing them, after i have been wearing clear contacts for a while. it seems it takes my eyes a while to adjust. Sometimes the contact slides around, plus if its really dark it makes it worse....I don't really have any experience with other types.
