Hey there!
I'm so excited about this website - wish there was something like this back when I started dancing! I've been retired now for seven years (got into the dancing when I was young). I've been thinking lately of getting back into it "part-time" so I can finance a mortgage. What I want is to find a good club or clubs outside my area (don't want family to know I'm dancing, they would not understand, and I successfully kept my secret last time). Years ago, I used to travel to Florida to dance, made good money, would come back to Canada and lead my "civilian life" What I'm looking for is a similar situation - places I can work where I won't have to get a stipping license or have a club make photocopies of my ID. I'm Canadian, but I'm also an actress and don't want any paper trail left that will tie me to stipping when and if I make it in the acting world. I live in Vancouver now, so Washington, Los Angeles, Nevada, are all logical places to dance, but I think some cities require licenses.
Can anyone suggest any hints for good places to work in the States (or Canada) or elsewhere where I won't have to fill out papers or have a permit? What about Guam?
Your help is appreciated!
Thanks,
