Okay you guys...
I Lost the contest... :-( I didn't even make 4th out of 11... everyone I talked to said I did fine and he said I can come in tommorrow if I want t owork there... what do you think? I mean, I lost... which sucks... but maybe I could try? What does anyone think? And how many outfits do I need to find for my 'first' night. Also I was concerned because the other dancers were quite unfriendly....
Ug... Help?
Congrats on doing the Am. Night contest. As I mentioned to many before, where one finnishes in the contest doesn't usually matter. Those who won might not have even been auditioning for a job.
What's important is that the club asked you to return. Now it's up to you to decide if you want to give it a go. How did you feel up on stage? Do you think you'd enjoy working as a dancer? If so, give it a whirl.
As far as the other dancers, don't worry too much about them. Some will be nasty, hey your their competition. Some will be friendly, and even those may just be false friendliness. You may meet a few who are ligitimately friendly. Even so, you should approach it as work. You're there to make your money. It's usually best to simply keep to yourself and take care of your own business anyway. It will help you to avoid all the excess drama.
Finally, in regards to the number of outfits, it depends. Some say change often, others will say change little. Here's a thread with some feedback on the topic for you......

Best of luck!
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
Thank you very much...
it was out of control though.... I felt like I fit more with the dancers who already worked there (smaller bodies, smaller boobs, mostly blondes, mostly mellower music, slow moving, more sexy than crazy). The amatures were really different. Alot of them (all who won) were wearing like leather and were crazy on the pole and one of them even poured burning wax all over herself... crazy stuff...
Anyways, I have to find something to wear to see if I can go tonight... so wish me luck with that... I have five hours.
Another question, there is a 20-50 dollar house fee... what happens if you don't make enough to cover that and tip out?
Some places make you pay it before you work for the night, some places have a rule to where you have to sell a certain number of drinks every night, and if you dont make your house fee, they just let you sell extra drinks, some places just let it roll over to the next night. There are lots of ways to do things, but dont let it roll over if you can possibly help it, it will definitely seem like it builds up. I knew a girl who never took any of her ones home, she left them in her locker and would pay house with that. First and foremost, make enough money to stick back for your house that night. Good luck![]()

That dosn't sound very amature to me!Originally Posted by PrincessPatti618
