Default "You can't bring me down, Beeeyotch"

I got called a "peanut" last night- two mean-faced woman customers my age came up to my rail and were tipping me....it seems like they were being condescending. Unluckily for them, I do a good routine and crawled up the pole to show that, Call me what you want, but I earn my money.
I don't understand why angry women will come to a strip bar to be rude to the dancers. It's like PETA showing up for a hog slaughter, you know you won't dig it, so why waste your time?
Oh well. Screw them, I made more money than they probably did yesterday at whatever job they do. Haw.

They were probably women that always wanted to dance deep down inside and knew they couldn't.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

What does it mean to be called a "peanut?" I'm a newb sorry. Well, haters are everywhere and they think that they can look high and mighty by being rude and ruining someone else's good time. Hey, at least they paid you, think of it as their "being asses tax"

Reminds me of the time my BF and I went to the rodeo and there were drunk PETA people behind us yelling and interrupting the whole thing. Long story short, they started a fight with us and I told some girl "I wouldn't f*ck her with a stolen dick" Her BF attacked mine and I slugged him in his ignorant, drunk face.

Point is---there are nasty people everywhere, and you just gotta make the best of your life and your choices. I didn't want to fight and be nasty but the situation was imposed on everyone, it was for the greater good. And for you, the greater good was being richer than you were before. Those bitches can go home feeling better having sucked and you have their money, it's even. I'm willing to bet that they only wish they were as sexy as you are, too. You win.

Ha, thanks, Heaven. Holy moley, PETA at the rodeo. Why do they do it?
I think "peanut" had to do with my small size and brown skin. It also means "idiot" (my ex would use it as an insult, that's where I hear it first.) I was not in a mood to get into it over anything with anyone. It was a hard money night- I'm happy with my earnings, but the customers were bratty. One guy from Seattle said he was used to "touchier" dances and I had to explain in this city, the club has to be strict no-touch due to the conservative people who want to shut the place down.

Are you a petite woman ?

If so, they might not have been trying to be rude by calling you peanut. The fact that they tipped makes me think maybe they were not being mean after all. I know, it would be fairly unusual for female customers but if they tipped you and called you a "pet" name (my Dad called me Peanut until I was 16 and asked him to stop saying it in front of my friends.) it's possible they meant no harm.

    good attitude maxine! fuck them!!!
I too have wondered many a time, why, just why, do women (cause I can't call them ladies) go into strip clubs when they know it's not their thing.

AND... if they know they aren't going to have fun, they could at least be polite to the dancers. They're on OUR turf! I notice the younger women (say, 18-24, tend to be the meanest)

But, let me reiterate... fuck them! (I'm in a sassy mood this morning, haha)

The only reason women do this is because they are jealous that they dont/cant have a body like yours or other dancers, and that men flock around us like white on rice. And the women just dont like that. But hey, thats their problem, not ours

What i have always thought was funny...

When a woman is standing at the tip rail or sitting in perv ally and tipping, even if she is condecending and a bitch, the other guys in the room always get a "thrill"when a woman tips a woman and generally will also tip.
Just the mere hint of bisexuality in a woman is like stink bait to a catfish.
We are a simple creature and it dont take much.

    Ego thing.
A girl cant tip more then me kinda thing maybe?

I even call them on the mike about it if I can.

Use the biotch for all she is worth, and like you said, she will go home and make less money the next day at work.

You want to rock this chics world, really come on to her on stage and get the attention of the room.Turn the bitch into part of your show, just like when a heckler shouts down a comedian or musician(stage entertainer)Never let them win.
If she is a bitch, everyone will see it,perfect for pity tips from the guys in the room who will have to go home to one of those at closing time.
If her response is a good one,the guys will go crazy and you will get the bisexual tips.

Its win win for the entertainer who can turn the "Biotch female"customer around to her benny.
Use the DJ to help drag this mark out, have him shout her out and spot lighted!

    SHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTT!!!!!!!

Gimmie a freekin bitch at the stage and I will break her husband in an hour, cash and plastic, and have her leaving either feeling like the sexiest woman on earth or the lowest form of female known to man.Her choice, but either way,the entertainer gets paid, and i gets mines.

Cant do anything if the entertainer looses it and gets pissed.
The moment an entertainer shows her ass or is visably pissed, its over. The dj cant really say anything to help or cheer on or egg on,nothing is a joke anymore or "fun"if someone is pissed, end of show, the bitch won.

The bitchy female customer is a mark just like anyone else, and those freekin bitches always got money,or a hubby in tow who does,ya just gotta get your hustle down right for it.

madmaxine: You are hot! AND, thanks for reminding us "big girls" that there IS another end of the spectrum. There will always be the asshole or 2 (or sometimes it seems the whole club) that will think we are too tall/short, thick/thin, pale/tan/dark, busty/flat....the list goes on. Let's see them get their ass up on stage and dance for OUR money. I'd just as soon give my money to a female dancer, because women's bodies are far more beautiful than any man, hands down! (still gotta love the men, though!)

I think this incident may translate to " I'm sick of my hubby going to a the strip club and blowing money on dancers, now I'm going to go in there and see what the big deal is with my friend and make life hell on the dancers; because it is thier fault that my hubby goes into to see them"

Also Peanut could mean a racial/ ethnic slur like "Coconut"-- Brown on the outside and White on the inside, it's commonly used to denote a dark skinned minority [i.e.Hispanic, Black, Hawaiian, Phillipino etc] that has assimilated into American culture or doesn't act "Ghetto".

    Other examples include:

Oreo-- (re upper class educated African American)

Banana--(re Any Asian that acts more like an American than a traditional Asian).

So depending on the background of who called you what, it may be an insult.

Note: This post is not intened to offend, or insult anybody in anyway shape or form it is to provide examples to illustrate a point. So I apologize to anyone who is offended by what I just posted.

Well, it's not the worst I've heard. (The sneakiest slur I recall is a female bar customers sneering, "Goodnight, b*tches!" when the dancers were getting herded into the dressing room at closing time and couldn't respond to an insult.) I've also been subjected to awkardness/maltreatment at work by people of every size, shape, color and physical ablilty, so I don't get hung up on P.C. issues. It's just confusing, why go somewhere you don't like to see something you don't approve of, and spend money doing it in the process...?
The other weird thing that happened is two different ex-boyfriends of dancers who worked at the club came in.....separately. It was Come In and Cause Trouble Night. One guy I sensed was a jerk, and then I overheard his ex-girl in the dressing room talking about him. Hmmf.

    Maxine,

I think it's kind of in the same realm of the personality disorder as "My Boyfriend cheated on me, but I'm going to beat up the girl he cheated with because it's her fault even if she didn't know he was taken"...

At my club we do the best we can to make these girls' lives hell. I remember like a week ago a girl and her friends went up to one of our dancers rack but there wasn't enough room on that side for her boyfriend and his friends so they went to the otherside. This girl was talking so much sh*t about the girl onstage while tipping her! Too bad the dancer heard and got on the ground, crawled over to the the boyfriend, sat on his area of the rack and proceeded to kiss and lick his neck. (Gross but funny) This girl jumped out of her chair so fast looking like she was gonna cry and went and sat on his lap for the rest of the song. We greatly discourage women haters in the club.

Youre a toughie....you know some immature crap like that cant bring you down!! Youre too good for that. Youre super strong (at least to me). Bitches like that just love to get their rocks off by bringing others down.....well after they are done what will they have left? Nothing...and no one that wants to be around their crappy attitude.

dealing with women customers is probably the best and worse thing about dancing, the best because if your in a spicy mood you can really fuck with them, the worst because they think that we have all the self confidence in the world and they try to tear it down. also they come in and talk smack because we are hot and there bf's pay to see us and then think about us while doin them. LOVE IT.

WOW! Thats all i can say. I'm not a dancer yet, but i have been twice and i loved it...My first time was on valentines day and i bought my husband his first lap dace. I just cant believe that these "girls" are like that. SSShhhhooootttt, i was tipping more money out then the guys was...i thought it was the most sexiest thing i ever seen...Think about it here, A women with curves all over, moving in ways, that (my husband says)hypnotise, in her most valurable state, naked for everyone to see..i would say that shows confidence..which to me is HOT!

So you goddess, just rock on!!

p.s i will start dancing some time this month, so if any of you have advice, share with me Please.....thanks

I've been working dayshifts recently, and there are fewer women. The ones that do come in though really want to be there and ROCK as customers!

I really try my best to make all women who come in feel comfortable and happy. Perhaps if we treat the women better, it will improve their views on us. I know that I have converted a few haters.

But I've had crap experiences too, especially with large groups of women, poo on them!
