    There are several ways to finance cosmetic surgery. The easiest is Capital One Cosmetic Fee Plan. Even if you don't have the best credit, you could always try. I financed 5K and my payments were 150/month. The APR was outrageous (19%) but I was able to pay it in a few months.

    try CareCredit

    I used it to finance my cosmetic dentistry and was given 1 year no interest (after that it was a stupid amount)

    Wild: Your breasts look great (they looked great before as well). From an aesthetic point of view I think the surgeon was right not to give you bigger. You really suit that size. If I ever got a boob job (im an a cup like you were) I would want it to look like yours.

    Breast 'lifts' without implants can involve some fairly extensive surgery since quite a bit of tissue has to be removed. Lots of times girls can get a lift effect in conjunction with implants which is actually less traumatic, leaves less scarring, and costs about the same overall.

    Doctors don't usually break down the costs involved, but from what I have been able to determine it goes like this. Buying the implants themselves from the companies that manufacture them costs around $1500 (saline is a little cheaper and silicone is a little more expensive). Another $1000 or so goes to cover the cost of establishing you as a patient (transferring medical histories, checking other background info) and you don't have to pay this again if you have a second surgery with the same doctor. Another $1000 or so goes towards the cost of using the surgical facility (sometimes the girl pays this directly to a hospital/clinic, other times it's channeled through the doctor's office). The rest goes to the doctor for his services.

    There can also be 'extra' costs, i.e. another $1000 for an actual anesthesiologist during the surgery, any costs for an overnight stay or post-op nursing care etc. These 'extra' costs are optional as the surgery can be done without an MD anesthesiologist, and you can also go home a couple of hours after your surgery is done if there aren't any complications.

    270 cc's is like a cup of rice.
    put it in a ziplock baggie or a nylon to see how big that is.

    240 took me up about 2 cup sizes

    although i got this info off of breast implants 4 you

    "Results of the study showed that an average of 189cc of saline was needed to change one bra cup size. Increasing an A cup to a C cup required a total of 391cc, or 196cc per cup. Moving from a B cup to a D cup required a total of 448cc, or 224cc per cup. The largest change, an A cup increasing to a D, cup required 437cc, or 145cc per cup."
    "...while these amounts help achieve the desired size, they are not exact and that differences may occur because of other variables, such as chest wall size, breast tissue and the tissue envelope size." (source: Breast Augmentation Patients Try Implants on for Size - ASPS)

    it's interesting to hear the increase in cash, but often i get compliments because i'm natural. many guys complain they dont like the 'feel' of implants. i'm not flat, but not huge (43b-c). i'm very small person (5'3', 95lbs). i've considered implants, but i have health problems, plan on getting surface piercings on my chest, worry about them not looking so good when i get older, health risks (leaks, ruptures), will it mess with the branding on my ribcage when the skin stretches, and if i'll have the money when i need to get new implants. another thing: how would they look when i need to take them out permanently? these are some things that have made me reluctant to go through with it. but yet i get pierced and tattooed all the time...

    I'm 4'11" 94 lbs. and it's amazing how many male surgeons wanted to give me 400ccs ++. I finally found a young female surgeon who did a great job at 250 ccs. Everyone said "you'll wish you went bigger" but so far I'm happy with the size .

    I would think a large D at least. The 250s pulled me up to about a 32c. I got moderates. On some smaller girls I know the bigger sizes can look great, for ex. i met this girl my size with 350 and she looked awesome, but on me, I just wouldn't feel comfortable. Plus I heard the bigger can = more complications. All I wanted was for my boobs to match my butt. it was very hard finding a dr. who was even willing to do the "small" implants. One dr. even told me 270 was as small as he "could" go. I knew that was flat out lie.
    I had very little pain/ numbness except a few sharp pains and tenderness.

    Siliconedoll, it's hard to describe how many ccs is a C,D, DD, or F. It's going to vary with the ribcage measurement and the natural breast size.

    As the ribcage gets bigger (i.e. 32 vs 3 it will take more CCs to create a certain cup size. If you've ever compared a 32DD bra to a 38DD bra, you will see that not only is the 38 band longer, but the curvature of the underwire is completely different. A really good website that describes this is http://www.justbreastimplants.com/size.htm

    It also depends on what you start with. For example, one of my co-workers and I joke that we have the same boobs. We both have Mentor 630 high profiles overfilled to 670, under the muscle by the same doctor. She got hers 2 months after mine. I'm 5 foot 11, 160 lbs, 22% bodyfat, and a 36F. She is a 5'2 120 lb bodybuilder, I'm guestimating 10-12% bodyfat with 34DD. Mine look so much bigger compared to hers because I started with a 36C and she started with a nipple

    Also, I found both the rice test AND trying on the implant sizers at the doctor's office to be completely misleading. Both times they seemed WAAAAAAY too big. I almost chickened out and told hom to drop me down to 500 ccs on surgery day. But, he knew my situation and assured me that for what I wanted 670 was the way to go. I thought the 650 sizers looked ridiculous in my bra, but he was right. After everything settled, I wasn't nearly as big as I looked in the sizers.

    And Dollylocks, I was quoted 12k for the breast lift with implants. Needless to say, I went for a second opinion. Many surgeons will try to upsell a lift to patients who have any kind of natural breast tissue. A great site for breast lift info is http://www.breastlift4you.com/

    implants = maintainence

    maintainence = $$$$$

    If you are happy with what you have, BA may not be a good idea. I am about your size with smaller boobs (32B). I like my breasts as they are.

    This is true. Once you get implants you're pretty well committed to the idea that you'll be replacing them with new ones every 10 years or so.

    On the subject of CC's versus cup size increase, there are a million variables. Remember that implants are three dimensional, so that say an implant with twice as many cc's is only 26% bigger (1.26 * 1.26 * 1.26 about equals 2) in terms of a linear measurement.

    ^^ I agree, men can be so dumb. Can they really even spot fake boobs??? I think they do but only when its a bad boob job so therefore they start saying they don't like them but really its the girl with the obvious bad boob job they don't like.
