    Default Yikes...foot problems...help!!!

I've been dancing for about 2 years now and b/c of the shoes I wear, i've been getting bumps on the big toe next to the pinky, and pinky. Its beginning to get noticeable and the Dr. told me its the bones moving b/c of the pressure of the shoes.I wear clear ones, 7"(pleaser i think) but have not blow dried it to stretch(but now I will).I am about 5'1 so i cant really go too small on the heel. Has anyone gone through this? Should I buy a bigger size shoe(im a 7). I think Im going to get surgery on this to correct this but wanted some insight from u guys on this first. Thanks!!!!

I have wide width feet (7B) and try to buy dance shoes with large toe-box room. And I put my feet up whenever I can at work. I don't know about going a size up, the shoes might slide around. Why not start wearing ankle boots/ Mary Jane type shoes?

Well, the shoes you wear at work seem to hurt you, but when you aren't working what do you wear?
I know alot of dancers continue to wear heels even outside work and that is how their achilles tendon grows shorter (a common problem for dancers.)
When you are outside work don't wear heels unless you have to (cool party or event.) I give love to my feet by getting my guy to massage them or even doing it myself and I hate shoes anyway so I am usually barefoot most of the time. I rarely have pain in my feet because of this (of course it happens now and then,) if I do I take off my shoes at work and try to walk around barefoot to bring them back to life, you can walk on paper towels if you don't want to touch the floor, I think this would help realign your feet instead of crushing them for up to 9 hours.
Or find a foot fetish guy!!!!! It may seem strange at first, but they give the best massages and usually pay you for it. As long as that's allowed in your club, of course.
    Good luck!
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
