    Default Vitamin Regimens?

I'm curious as to what vitamins/supplements you girls take on a daily basis. I haven't taken vitamins since I was ten and those were Flintstones vitamins!

    Haha I need help. Thanks!

well, I go overboard. As my fiance says, I am a pill popping queen!
I take the following pretty much every day or at least guaranteed every day I work
    Calcium
    b complex
    niacin
    b 12
    E
    garlic
    Pomaranate
    st. john's Wort
Valerian (only when I get home since it makes me sleepy)
    Tonalin
And a One A day for women

I Think that's it until I pick some other vitamins that I decide I can't live without
Of course, I ONLY take the daily recommmended amount. It's a lot of pills, but only what it says on the bottle!
And with milk of food so it doesn't hurt my tummy
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

I guess I didn't answer your question.. I have been reading a lot of health magazines since I have gained weight (It looks good, but I don't really like it since I used to be stick thin, then again the brasts are nice!)
I started trying to find stuff that makes me have good skin, generate new cells, helps with mental stability and gives me energy.. Every vitamin I take helps with that. I know it looked like a lot, but I want to stay looking and feeling young for as long as possible! And dancing wears in my physically and mentally, but my vitamins help allevaite that strain.
If I were you would order a bunch of free pamphlets and magazine to decide what you think is best for you.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

wow that's alot of vitamins... I just take the walmart hair vitamins, multi vitamins, calcium citrate, and B12 every other day. When I really need to chill out I drink kava from fiji... oh it's better than valium.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

lo, valium gives me a headache! So this kava really work, huh? I've rad about it on here, but never tried it.. This site is also the reason I started drinking pomagranate juice until I found the vitamins (I HATED the taste.)
I also use Viatmin skin cream on my face, it's not exactly a vitamin, but the difference in the look is amazing! My pores are smaller, skin healthier looking and so smooth, I use it as it's own daily vitamin, but it's really thick so you have to use an itty bitty bit. Since it's pure vitamin it counts as a vitamin right? I use the E oil in my hair whenever it gets dried out as well..

Lets see, I take the Walmart brand Mega mulivitamin, cranberry pills, Tonalin, and several calcium chews. I also drink OJ every day as well as eat fruits and yogurt. I also run every day because I have low calcium.

    Goji juice

    That's my main nutritional suppliment.

I also "snack" on seeds -- pumpkin and sunflower. Then various nuts. Plus strive to walk 1000-2000 steps per day.

I eat alot of cheese that's why I have the seeds and nuts.

I'm into the nutritional juices as I can't stand popping pills anymore. I used to pop alot of suppliment 'herbal' and 'multi-v' type of pills.... and am sooooo over it.

I see the Goji as helping my fruit intake (and a little veggie). I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to anything that can help 'boost' (or suppliment) my vegie intake ?

Currently, I drink V8 Hot N Spicy vegie juice as a way to suppliment/boost as I do realise I do not eat enough vegies in a day.

Anyone enjoy the Vitamin "chews", they are the big wafers that taste like cherry? I could only find them at GNC so I bought two of the gallon size bottles.
Yum! And so good for you!

Kava is great! I use the dried kava root that you drain in water then drink. The pills seem not to have even the close affect that the dried root does. It tastes terrible. makes your tongue numb. But the affect is great. Just don't drink too much or you'll get a kava hangover the next day. I drink pomagranate jice all the time I mix it in my diet lime soda and make cocktails with it.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Tailor your vitamins/ supplements to what your needs are.
EX mine: L- Lysine- for frequent travelers, it's an immune system booster
L-Glutamine- Helps muscle cells retain water
CLA Tonalin- muscle firming/ weight loss
B- Complex- gotta get those B Vitamins
Salmon Oil & Primrose Oil- for skin and heart health, PMS....
I hate multivitamins because I can smell most of them coming out in my urine. (Yuck.) So I try to eat right in addition to taking all of the above.

Here's the vitamens I currently take:

    CLA-6 a day.
Chromium Picolinate- 2 a day (The chromium is a fat burner and activates the ingrediants in the CLA making it more effective. Plus, the pills are tiny so they are very easy to swallow.)
    B-12
    Women's multi vitamen
    1 vitamen E tablet
    2 melatonin 1 hour before bedtime(not a vitamin, a sleep aid.)

I take a silly chewable one recommended by my stress management teacher. They are called Nutri Stars by Rainbowlite. I like it because I am usually on the run, so I grab the chewy vitamins and a fruit to help digest. I also take a womans 1 a day brand. The nutri stars are nice because it has veggies and spirulina in it.

I take Centrum Performance every day. I'm looking into taking something to burn fat and/or increase muscle mass, but I have to be careful due to past medical history and NCAA rules.
