    Default How to silence sarcasm?

I'm a very sarcastic person in real life. I'm also a bit of a smart ass. These two are not exactly the best qualities in a stripper. Usually I'm able to tone it down but sometimes I'll slip up (Customer during a lap dance: You have beautiful eyes. Me: Thanks, I made them myself.) On the rare occasion I run into someone who likes it, I'll get him to spend lots and I'll actually have a good time chatting in a way that makes me very comfortable.

Three questions... 1, How do I not be sarcastic??? 2, If I do slip up and say something in a smart ass way, what is a pleasent way to turn it positive? 3, Should I not worry about it and just go with it? Thanks.

I say go with number 3.Don't worry too much about it.Most men like women with a sense of humor.Stick with it.
One of woman's cardinal rule: Body parts can be fake, everything else has to be real.

    一个女人的枢机规则:肢体可以伪造,一切必须真实.

    LOL! That's pretty funny, actually.

I developed the capability of talking in a variety of different ways to people. I can talk about stuff using perfect grammar, and then with the next customer I can talk ghetto or gangsta and pull it off (yes, even as a white chick!). I think the ability to interact with the customer and modify your approach according to their personality is a key to making more money - esp. as it relates to developing regulars.

The only way I know to do that is to watch, listen and learn how other people talk and actively develop the skill to do that. And, when you talk, make like you know WTF you're talking about - it goes back that "attitude" thing - if you seem like you know what you're doing, they think maybe you do.

I'm not sure how else to describe it. I hope that helps some.
Never underestimate a hot chick with brains - even if she's nekkid!

Go with number 3 and come see me.
"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

I'm a smartass too. I never get tired of this one. Customer: You smell GOOD.....
    Me: Thanks, I showered today.
I can usually tell when the guy has no sense of humor, and lay off the sarcasm.

I'm sarcastic too. That's actually my selling point. Big spenders seem to love it.

If a customer can not appreciate my sense of humor, I revert to roboto stripper. Giggly, flirty, you-are-so-interesting, blah, blah, blah. It works but isn't as fun as cracking jokes.

I'm a smartass too. Can't really cover it up, so I don't try. I really don't think it's ever cost me any money.

I'm a major smartass, but haven't quite been able to master the conversion to "robo-stripper" (hee hee!) when needed. Oh well...it's not usually that hard to find someone that I don't have to be totally fake with though.

I try to tone it down a bit when I believe I'll benefit. I figure there's more than one setting. So I set the phasers on stun sometimes, rather than kill.
