    Exclamation Scores in Vegas

Ok I just got back from Vegas and my fav club Jaguars is about to become Scores Las Vegas. Apparently the deal went down about a week ago and it's about to be finalized.

They've got banners proclaiming "Scores soon" and the DJ is pushing it every freakin time that he says anything. In fact, it was getting kind of annoying. They've already put in big screens and the crowds have definitely picked-up. My ATF and another dancer that's been there since it opened, love the new atmosphere. So if any of you are considering Vegas and have danced at Scores' club previously, there's your up-to-date 411.

In fact, they've already raised the cover to $25 too. I was surprised the beers were still $6.

Still free if you drive yourself, but who knows how long that'll last though. In fact last night was the first time that I cabbed it there in quite a while.

Well, the clubowners have to come up with a new revenue source to pay their franchise fees to Scores Corporation !

They should just hang a huge banner outside that says.......
"COME TO VEGAS GIRLS, PAY $300 IN DANCER FEES DAILY....THEN COMPETE AGAINST 300, MAYBE EVEN 500 GIRLS, TRY TO MAKE YOUR MONEY BACK AND MAKE A PROFIT"......."AND DON'T FORGET GENTLEMAN WE HAVE $12 MILLER LITES FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT".....

LOL Former btw I just realized that my post sounded like a recruiting ad for them. Sorry if it did, was strictly for informational basis.

Are there new managers and I assume new owners?
Not necessarily. Lately, Scores has taken up the practice of franchising their name to locally owned and operated clubs. Thus there is no real reason to assume that anything in regard to this particular club has changed other than their paying a franchise fee to Scores Corp so they can use the Scores name on the front of their club. There is also no real reason to assume that the earnings potential or management philosophy of the Scores owned and operated clubs in Manhattan is in any way remotely related to the earnings potential and management philosophy of this particular club or any of the other locally owned and operated clubs which franchise the Scores name.

I can guarantee prices of everything will go up though. To maintain that "upscale" theme in Las Vegas.

If so are they nice... and what happened to the old ones?
How do you think it will compare to the other clubs in vegas?

I am not sure but my ATF told me new owners and managers already. Also some new floor guys too.

Yes Retired, I bet next time the Corona's will be $10. In fact the drinks in the VIP are already more expensive. Before it was $5 for a bottle H2O, the same as downstairs, but this time it was $10 upstairs.

Hey everyone.... I work there now and although the cover charge has gone up and other prices may have increased, the house fees have remained the same:

    before 5:00 free
    before 7:00 $30
    before 10:00 $40*
    before 11:00 $50*
    after 11:00 $20*

    * on Friday's and Saturdays
    before 10:00 $50
    before 11:00 $60
    after 11:00 $60

you have to work a 6 hr minimum, but managers are flexible

As for the increase in cover charge????? The club caters to the upper class, who dont bat an eye at a $25 cover charge, because they know that the quality of girls and service will suit their tastes. Would you rather work at a club who charges $10 at the door, and have to dance for broke chumps and young guys who are disrespectful all night??? Or would you rather work at a club that charges $25 at the door, and dance for established, wealthy, well to do business men??? I'd rather work for the one who charges a $25 cover, and know that once I go to work I will leave with pocketfulls of $100 bills, and my dignity!! LOL!!!!

    Hey Vegas Girl,

Some input/advice? I began as a small town girl like yourself. I've danced in Chicago and Saint Louis, and even Reno. But I know nothing really compares to Vegas. Let me ask you this..... Is the competition really as CUT THROAT as they say it is? I mean, I hear stories about the girls being ruthless and vicious...that true? I'm a HUSTLER, and I KNOW how to work the guys...but I'm not into tripping girls to beat them to a table..know what I mean?

Also, what's the scheduling like at Scores? Do they tie you down to a certain number of shifts? Do you have to sign a one year contract or anything?

And of COURSE, How about the $$? Obviously, it depends on the girl...but honestly, would you say $800 is a reasonable goal for one shift, if I'm hustling and I'm hot? Is Scores getting their fair share of business now, or are they still kind of slow going?

Your pearls of wisdom would be INVALUABLE to me. I'm STARVING here in Saint Louis, and I have to find a new home, and QUICK!!!!

Let me know. BTW, if you feel uncomfortable posting a reply to the $$$ question on here (some girls do) please email me at [email protected] From one dancer to another, thanks so much for the help. I look forward to possibly meeting you if/when I travel out to Vegas.

I lived and danced in Vegas full time for 3 years.....in the big clubs (where the most money is) at the peak hours, yes it can be cut throat. I would just mind my p's and q's and go to work to make money not friends there. Be aware if you are with a good customer and you get up to go to the bathroom or something, more often than not someone will try to take them while you're gone, even if it's for a couple minutes. Dancing in Vegas has very high highs and very low lows.....it's not consistant. If you're up for a challenge go for it. You can make some money but you will work very hard for it. Harder than in other cities. There is much bullshit to put up with in Vegas.

Super cutthroat, I've never seen anything like it. When the club was busy, it was great, like running a 100 yard sprint for the nearest custy. When the club was empty it was like crawling through a marathon on cement with broken glass shards....This is from one week of working double shifts at 2 clubs...you can learn a lot in 87 straight hours!

Katrine - Great post.....I guess I was trying to be gentle with my wording but you wrote what I was thinking.....Imagine running sprints and shards of glass for 3 years! I gave Vegas a shot, hey......yeah DEFINITELY a serious learning experience in the world of stripping. Until you live it yourself people just don't understand what it's really like there.
All those innocent little fantasies of the magical Vegas girls have from rumors they hear......*excuse me now while I pick some glass out of my foot from 2 years ago*....
