    Default I'm a Noob

I have always come here for a feeling of support.
I don't know, I feel like maybe if I just type here what has been going on...you guys could give an opinion.

My friends don't know alot about this biz. They think I go...take off my chlothes have a few free drinks, and party. They don't understand what goes on before and after and during....

I'm a little confused. I haven't made anything to be proud of but I haven't been brave enough to work a weekend yet. I came into this not knowing how to dance or carry myself. Wow, you guys would have gotten a laugh to see me walk in these shoes.
Today I almost quit. And I talked myself out of it.

A few nights ago I got drunk at an after party at the club I work in. A big no no, and something I had been warned against attending.
I practiced with the pole, one good thing...I was told I was doing a great job..I brusied 2 ribs (during the party)
    Haven't gone back since.
I also think that one of the workers there might be a potential stalker. No proof of that yet, and no story, just....a womans...sense. Yanno?

Another thing, has anyone had to deal with their male friends finding out?
I have I went to a party a few nights back and apparently I was the talk of the town. (small town) It's hard.

It's hard when these men come in....thinking they know me...
It's hard when these people think they have saw me drunk and wanna talk about what I do...
I'ts hard when this one man....seems to think he owns me.

I do think I will not drink anymore before/during/or after I work.

    I'm giving it the weekend.

    I just hope it......

    I dunno...works?

Ah, you live and you learn, no one is perfect. You are learning how things are, there's one thing in reading about something or being told about something and actually having hands on experience. I also live in a small town and the only time i've danced here is either really drunk, lol or at like 3am in the morning when the clubs are almost closing.

People will always talk, who cares.

Here is a saying for you, Your smart when you learn from your mistakes and a genius when learn from others mistakes. Actually i dont see them as mistakes because everything happens for a reason, and take what happens as a learning experience...but it is a mistake if you keep doing the same thing over and over getting the same results. What i like to call a Dumbass...

Hey at least nothing REALLY bad happened? Sounds like you need some pampering...I say go do something nice for yourself to relax and get things in perspective.
On the small town thing...its a small town and its gonna happen. You have to brush it off and take it. People are going to be curious and/or jealous.
Answer questions if you like b/c they are only talking about you b/c sometimes they really dont know how it is.
Also, getting drunk w/ co workers is a person by person basis. I always thought it wasnt a great idea only because it breaks down the level of professionalism you have w/ them.
    My 2cents.

    that's your flaw
