I'm having trouble finding a reputable attorney with experience in the industry. You'd think with so many lawyers in this country...
anyone?

Hmm... can't seem to find a way to make that web address work, no matter how i rearrange it. Want to try again?
I would...but it should be http://www.divorcesource.com <---I have NO idea why I decided that's what you were going for....since you said "in the industry"...except for that "I'm drunk" part...which must clearly be it. Clearly. Huh.

Shit, dude....I'm drunk....I don't know how I got in there...I NEVER go in that forum on purpose... Stant just informed me of my mistake and I deleted it. I swear I thought I was in the lounge!
EDIT
As such, I fully admit my liability and errors and am prepared to take my punishment from all the gals (do you have ANY idea how difficult it is to type all this???????????????)

You posted in Ladies Only?
That's it, Mojo...you've gone too damn far...there is only one punishment that Pryce will allow for these infractions.
You must take your clothes off and join the naked pyramid of other offenders...or prepare to be.

I'm in SoCal but an attorney from anywhere is ok. Bunny, you say you know someone in FL?
Well, project...it does matter where you get an attorney. An attorney in FL is not going to be very knowledgable of SoCal rules/regs/laws. Not all attorneys are licensed to practice law outside of their home state. It does matter where your lawyer is from...
What kind of legal problem are you having?
I'll back up what V just said. Get an attorney familiar with the law in your own area.

Yes, I doubt any of the attorneys I know here are licensed to practice in CA.

I guess you're in need of a "criminal" lawyer. If thats the case I suggest going to the court house and seeing them at work for yourself. I use to do that when I was in college and was thinking of pursuing a degree in law. I later found it the best way to get an idea of what type of person they really were in front of a judge. Plus you can see them interacting w/ the DA.
Also take note of the clientel they serve and how they talk to their clients.
When you see one you'd like to retain simply approach them for a business card or if you feel comfortable enough explain your situation.

Thanks for the info and advice. We're looking for business legal consultation, and I hadn't considered how much the laws will change from state to state. We'll definitely look closer to home.
