    Default buying a sunbed

ive decided to buy a sunbed, for several reaosns , one being that my stupid social anxiety/avidance is getting the better of me- i cant get downstairs to the gym across the road! the other is its actually cheaper.and its coming into winter here, and i never even got a tan over summer.so im pasty white

does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for? as i dont even know much about sunbeds, ive only used one a few times in aussie.

is there certain things i need to watch out for? any particular brands etc?

    ive got no idea!!

planning on gettng on on ebay type site,so it will be second hand.

    thanks!!

I don't know much about sunbeds, but I've seen them on craigslist, and I know they have that in NZ.

I go to salons since I would be super cheap and lazy buying and changing the bulbs if I had one of my own.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

You may want to talk with some of the salons in your area. Some of them sell older beds at the end of the "peak" tanning season so they can replace them for the next year. One of my friends bought a bed like that and got a great deal.

mermaidnz, I would suggest you self-tan. I tanned in tanning beds for years around your age. Now I regret it. Tanning will cause freckling and premature aging.

My biggest concern, however, is your agoraphobia and social anxiety. Sweetie...that's not healthy...and you should really consider seeing someone who can help you through that.
