    Default Help!!

    Whats the most amount of weight I can hope to lose in 7 days?? Im panicking because I have an audition next fri but the manager told me on the phone they will only hire me if im unbelievably stunning. im so worried I want this job so much but I know my bodys imperfect at the moment mainly around my stomach and a bit on my thighs. I wasnt worried cos the club never used to be this strict but theyv obviously changed. Does anyone know what I can do and what the maximum weight loss could be in this short time?im really desperate and i will dedicate the following week to weight loss.

    I don't want to burst your bubble, but maybe you shold wait a week or two for the audition. In the meantime, try Tonalin, weight training, cardio, and get a tan. Somebody alsoi told me hair externtions are sort of slenderizing.

    I don't think you can drop more than about 5 pounds safely in a week, and most of that will jsut be water, anyway.

    yeah i know im being a little unrealistic but im so desperate for this job and i need to start as quick as poss. I will get a tan and hope for the best, unfortunately tonalin didnt work for me. I dont mind if its fluid just as long as my waist line looks more slender.

    oh! I just had a thought! Go to the DAY SPA and get one of those whole-body wraps athe makes you look thinner. I'm pretty sure they don't do much in the long term, but to get you through an audition, why not?

    I have not had one in years (not terribly impressed with the one I had) but I know some peopel swear by them. I bet the ladies here can give you some great advice about which one.

    thanks colleen i really appreciate it cos this is really getting me down. i want nothing more than to be a dancer and the only 2 places in my area demand so much its unbelievable. it pisses me off cos i know id get customers easily but its just a question of convincing the managers. any more advice from anyone would be appreciated xx

    Hrm...eat very clean food for an entire week. I will always use a detox and dieters tea...althogh the dieters tea isnt good for long term use. Drink a boat load of water and stay away from salty foods...b/c if you dont all that water you drank will end up staying and you and making you feel bloated. Water helps deplete sodium levels in the body. No need to get into sweats and do 2hrs of cardio though..that would be dangerous.
    Anyways, of course no fast food, not too many boxed food.....everything you eat should be picked or hunted with the exception of some bread....oh yea no pasta or extra piece of bread w/ any meal. If you do..whole wheat everything.

    thanks girls i think im gonna do the sacred heart diet i found on the net. its basically veg soup and alternating between fruit veg and meat on different days. i dont normally believe in diets but iv read good things sbout this plus I dont really have much of a choice Il be so unhappy if I dont get hired.

    Try going on a strict Atkins,but no alcohol at all.This diet really works,it's true!If you stay on it for a week,you could lose up to 10 lbs.One side affect from keeping a high fat and protein and zero carb diet is constipation.So drink lots of water,tea,but avoid anything carbonated.You should bee results fast.IMO it's the only diet that works in a short time with visible results.

    to be honest iv tried it before but ended u eating nothing but cocktail sausages and pieces of ham. I did it for a few days but lost nothing, it was very disappointing. maybe i got it wrong??

    Eat fiber rich foods also..that helps alot.. It can burn up to 250 calories alone..

    Which is Fruit, veggies, whole wheat bread, brown rice, prunes, bean.
    And the good thing about fiber is that it keeps you full a real long time and keeps you blood sugar leved so there wont be a place in the day were you feel crashed or tired and stops you from over eating...But make sure you drink plenty of water because if your body is not use to the fiber it can make you gasy and bloated, so drink water.

    Another thing is drink green tea, it boost the metabolism and eat spicy foods does the same thing...And eat a little protien with each meal about the size of for fist, thats a good portion.


    8:00 Brakfeast: 1/4 cup of Old Fashoin Oatmeal, 1/2 of blueberries or raspberries
    2 egg whites boiled, scrambled(pam fat free spray)
    Green tea(anybrand) 12oz water

    10:30 snack: 1/2 sweet red bell pepper, 2oz chicken breast

    12:30-1:00 Lunch: 1/2 FlatOut wrap,1cup baby spinich, 2oz chicken breat, big red apple

    3:00 Snack: some kind of bean. 1/2 cup only 1 toast Whole wheat

    5:00 Dinner: 1cup broccoli steamed, 8 aspargus speares 3oz chicken breast , 10 pices
    of cantalope.

    7:00 snack: Handful of almonds or what ever nuts you like, Apple

    make sure there is a 3hour gap form your last meal to bed time..

    thanks barbee you made great sense and I like that I can still have wholemeal bread. but even if I do this until fri, how much am i likely to lose,cos theres no point eating healthy if I still look the same for my audition, its not worth the hassle (although i realise its good to eat that way in the long run)

    dont for get to add exercise to that, but nothing to hard, you dont want sore muscles.

    I can burn up to 500 calories in 45 minutes dong the eliptacal machine at the gym. The more you weigh the more you wil burn..Just stay very active till friday, No watching t.v or sitting around...(not saying that you do that)

    Think that your body is your temple, and you dont want to poisin it with cruddy food.

    thanks barbee you've been very helpful and iv taken a lot of your advice on board (and ps. yes i do sit around all day watching tv, thats why I dont have the body I used too!)

    you have to be very strict the first few weeks of Atkins. you probably didn't lose anything because you weren't in "ketosis" what makes you metabolise fat. that takes 3 days or so to get into after you take out the sugar and limit carbs. i lost 8 pounds in two weeks. i ultimately lost 18 pounds in like 4 months. the stomach was the first to go! go on line or get the Atkins book. i did low cal, low fat and was on the treadmill at least 4 times a week and lost NOTHING. with the Atkins it just melted off. weight and inch's. don't know why you chose to eat those things. there is tons of stuff you can eat even in the first weeks.

    ^^^Girl you are to funny, Dont feel bad i pigged out so bad yesterday, I started my period and my nerves for getting my breast done tomorrow....its like aaahhhhhh. Just rember to keep on track. We all need a helping hand, now and then.
