Default Tan in a Can/airbrush tanners

Well, Lucky mag says the new Neutrogena spray tan in a can is great. You don't have to rub it in. I haven't tried, & also I see ads for an air brush tan thing w/cartridges for lik 20.00, it's called Solar Bronze. Also a product on Sephora.com has Model Co. brand tan in can that's been sold out temporarily (they have the smaller size tho). I hate going out for the Mystic. Anyone tried these?

yea, I have Sally Hanson's airbrush tan. It looks good. I like it better than sunless tanning because you never get any streaks. But watch out, if you sweat it will run. And if you go to sleep with it on, you will wake up with brown sheets lol. It also does take a commitment to spray it on everyday, and it takes awhile to do it.

I just bought the one from Loreal and I was all ready to try it yesterday, and I got scared!

I'm going to attempt it again tonight and post my results.

i use sally hansen's for work. i find that if i let it set for about 5 minutes after putting it on, it doesnt rub off. just to be safe i wouldnt wear white with it though. if you are ghostly pale and you use it, it may look a little orange but in dark club lights it just looks like a regular tan.

even when i shower after work i have to really SCRUB to get the stuff off. not a perfect brown, but looks good enough and is much safer for your skin than regular tanning!

The color from Sublime Bronze aerosol was even and good, but it was awfully greasy and didn't absorb at all (I waited 30 minutes for it to dry).

Yea thats the one I used I got so tired of waiting for it to dry i messed it up and thats why it came out super streaky. (and it says fast drying yea right). Althought I must say it was a pretty good color and apparently lasts a while. Still can't get it off a week later.

I haven't used a spray on tanner. I saw a couple on the Sally Beauty Supply website that look interesting and I'm considering getting. One is called Aztec Tan Mist Sunless Tanning System. (I don't know the store price but it's probably sort pricey since this month they're offering a coupon for $30 off from it.) I think this one plugs into the wall.

The other I saw on the Sally website is called Salon Bronze airbrush tanning system. http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/dept/4400/3 I found this on ebay for $13.50 but alot of them have $10 shipping.
I'm not sure what the difference between these and regualar aerosol self-tanner is though. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has tired these or others.

I tried the Loreal aerosol tan and I didn't have the greasiness.

I think it must have been because I didn't apply very much and used gloves to rub it in (rather than spray everywhere and not rub in).

I did get even and nice color. It dried fast and wasn't sticky at all. Plus it absolutely does not smell like anything.

    I relaly like the product.

i'm in love with the l'oreal spray. it is so wonderful. even with the greasiness (next time, i'll try rubbing it in more), it's got a better color than anything else i've used.

the neutrogena spray made me bright orange. and it was streaky in some spots. on the plus side (i guess?) it did dry quickly and didn't smell bad.

Hempz has an airbrush tan in a can and I love it, and it contains a self tanner in it too so you have some color left after you shower. Nice brown color, not orange. You have to go to a tanning/hair salon to get it a professional product.

I just saw the commercial for the Neutrogena spray today and was goin post to see if anyone has used it. What happens to the area where you are standing when you spray it. I would assume you might have to stand on some old towels or something?

I have the Neutrogena spray, It's AWESOME! I used the level two cuz I still am casperish from winter and what I did was showered and scrubbed to get dead skin off, then before I did anything else I spray it all over myself, even my face (though it says not to) The back is a little tough, but you can manage. As long as you don't over do it (meaning EVERY day) it look pretty good. (If you use it every day you look orangey) I like to use it mostly for my face cuz my face is usually paler. It took about two minutes to spray on and I wait about another two minutes (or more to be safe) to dry. there's no greasiness, and it doesn't rub off. I LOVE it. Oh and my crapet in my room isn't orange or brown, I dont think it affects clothes/carpet

I also love the new Neutrogena spray tan in a can...it hasn't rubbed off on any of my white towels! The first time I put it on I had a splotch or two...but the key is to spray one area at a time, non stop (ie: right leg then left). If you spray in lines, stopping and starting, it's darker where you start, liking pointing aerosal hairspray in one spot instead of moving it around your whole head (if that makes sense)?
But the end resaults are great.

I have been using Sublime Broze Self tanning towels by Loreal and I LOVE them. They are so easy to use and one cloth does your whole body. Only takes 2 minutes to do. They are awesome for touch up's when you don't have time to do the whole spray thing.

I am getting over a really bad professional spray tan, that made me look crazy. It was awful . I have tried a few and I feel that they give me a slight orange hue. Has any one had that problem?

Well, I have been reading up on this, this mo. Allure & I think Elle mags have info on spray tanners. It says that fair skinned should use an aerosol w/low DHA, the chemical that gives the color. I'm not sure what salons use

I think salons have different levels as well. similar to mystic's level I, II, III. I seem to recall when I was getting airbrushed the tech said something about the level...
