    Default Afternoon vs. Late Shift?

Since I'm going to my first audition I thought the best times for me would be the morning since I am void of a car currently (until I get a job).

What are the afternoon customers more like? Is it still busy at a club in the afternoon instead of 9-4am?

What would you say is the money difference?

I would go definitely for 9-4am. More custys that way and bars let out and bring custys to strip clubs afterwards.

It depends. During the day you can make the same amount of money but there is less customers, you have to spend more time talking and getting to know them and it gets better when you have regulars. At night there's more guys but that doesn't always mean more money. A lot of the night guys are young and broke.

its a huge difference, afternoon shifts tend to have a lot of cheap happy hour types, guys coming for the cheap buffet and they tip about as well as nuns would tip I guess. The money is so much better at night. The only times I ever work in afternoon is if I know a regular is coming in.

I prefer night shifts, because I thrive off the energy of the club. Not many customers and I lose my motivation and "edge".

    I agree^^
The day shift can be good too, but it is a bit laid back for me and I need the crowd to get me going. Try day and night in one week and see how you like it.
    Good luck!

It depends on the club and it depends on your style...

I used to be a "night girl" but after a few years I grew sick of the drunken idiots I seemed to be encountering in the last few hours. Sure they are freer with their money but they also come with extra head fuck! I also got sick of feeling lilke a zoombie all the time from going to bed so late.....

The last few months I have been doing a 4/5pm-10pm shift and its been going pretty well. Sometimes you have a bad day but it is the same deal at night right, gotta take the good with the bad.

You have to talk more, and be a bit more 'lady like' so to speak but I find that it is quality vs quantity during the day. I find I end up dancing for less guys but making the same money!! I get to go to bed early and I wake up feeling refreshed

I've worked day and night shifts; it depends a lot on you and it depends a lot on the club.

When I work day shift, I was usually one of the top dancers because there were fewer girls working. When I worked night shift, I was more average due to heavier competition, but there were more customers. I kept track and averaged it out and I personally made the same either way. BUT my club served food, so a lot of guys came in for lunch. Most clubs open during the day (at least around here) need something like that to bring people in.

And what they say about different selling strategies and atmospheres for the shifts is right on. Maybe you should try them both and decide for yourself.

I've been working days after almost 7 years of working exclusively nights. The earnings are about the same, and I don't have to share the drive home with all the drunks. I recommend starting at night though to learn how to hustle!

It all depends on the club. You should visit the clubs as a customer several times on both shifts to see the head counts, dancer to customer ratios, and momentum.

Some clubs have great afternoon business especially during happy hour and on Friday afternoons. And these clubs many times have more target customers which are the middle aged guys who come in at the end of their day versus nights which are increasingly having more and more under thirty types.

If a club allows you to work whenever you want when hired, I would go to work from 3 or 4 in the afternoon to closing for several days to see how you do.

There is no solid answer to your question. There are some clubs in your area which do decent happy hour business and others which aren't worth being at until night.
