Exclamation Help me have a better night!

The last two nights I've worked have not been good at all. Last Sunday I made $160. I went to work last night thinking, "It's Thursday, last Thursday was good (I made almost $400, even though it was slow), things will pick up since it's almost the weekend." Wrong. I busted my butt all night, from 8PM to 3:30AM and only made $80. I tried every single trick I've read about on here and nothing worked. And it's odd, because the guys seemed to love me! They clapped and cheered everytime I was on stage, told me how much they loved my smile, body ect, BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT ANY DANCES. I saw girls bring guy after guy up to the 3rd floor, but I didn't have any luck.

I work again tonight, and Saturday and I don't want it to be a repeat. What can I do to have a better night? I smile, I'm friendly, the guys comment that when I'm on stage I look like I love my job(and I do love my job, just not nights like these!), I sit down and chat with customers. But when your not making ANY money it's hard not to get discouraged. How do you guys stay postive, and turn things around for yourself?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Some nights suck, some don't.
I know you will get TONS of advice on here, but the truth is that there are just bad nights. I've worked a few nights when I am the ONLY blonde and you would think that I would bank, wrong, they only wanted brunettes anyway.
I guess just keep up the good work. I buy new outfits when I feel unloved, or bring out old ones. I talk to a guy that hasn't been spoken to, he might not give me a dime, BUT he might! Or at least remember me the next time. Little things that you don't normally do might help you.
I don't know, I've used different lines that I read on here, or actually act like a bitch to guy when I usually wouldn't.. I once went up to a guy after I received a dance from his friend and apologized to him... He said, "Why would you apologize to me?" I said, " Becaause I told your friend you were an A**hole.." He actaully laughed and he and firends spent the rest of the night with me..
p.s. I actually had called him one because I overheard him saying my breasts were too small, he was joking, but I still said it.. he he
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

The thing to remember is that even the "pros" have bad nights. Did you know that Babe Ruth struck out way more times than he hit home runs. The fact is, when he was on, he was on. Don't focus on the challenges you had last night, last week, or last month. Learn from your challenges and get over it. Dwelling on the past will only cloud the future so rather than focus how we could make one bad weekend not a pattern, let's focus on what your average night is and how we can make that better instead. You'll have better results overall that way.

That's really good advice, Dancerwealth. I will definitly keep that in mind.

I decided not to go to work tonight, because I don't want to show up in a bad mood, and start the night off wrong. So tonight I'll just chill out with my roommate, watch some movies and then go to work Saturday recharged and ready to work.

And Gypsy_Girlchild, I'm going shopping next week for new outfits, so I bet next weekend will be great! I always feel super hot when I have something new to wear.
