Ok, I know most of us switch positions during the night but we all have that "magic" sleep position. Without it, our blissful sleep is doomed!
I myself am a tummy sleeper...and I HAVE to have at least one leg sticking out from under the covers!

If everything you try is a sure thing, you aren't taking enough risks. If you never fail, you put a limit on the degree to which you can succeed. In short, the only way to win big is to risk losing
I was too! Until I got by augmentation. Now I usually sleep half side/half back with my neck tilted up and gripping a bundle of blankets. And I thrash in my sleep alot.
I sleep on my stomach on a regular basis, much to the dismay of my spinal column.

I'm a back sleeper. One of the hardest things for me to do while I was pregnant was NOT sleep on my back.
I think I'm mostly a side sleeper but sometimes I sleep on my back. the other night I slept at a friend's house and her husband told me he came home and saw me in the guest room sound asleep and totally sprawled out on my back on the bed with my arm stretched all out.

LOL you stomach sleeper starfish style people!! crackme up.
I sleep on my side...all fetal like with my feet inside the covers and sometimes w/ socks on eventhough I hate socks.

that's your flaw

Left to right all night !
I can only fall asleep on my right side. I also need to have a foot sticking out of the covers. The baby inherited that trait from me. She wants covers on her, but that foot needs to stick out.
Sleep is for the weak!!!! Taking power naps is what it's all about.

Ummm, I sleep on my left side. I used to be stomach sleeper only... but if you sleep in one position for too long, your posture will reflect that. So I had to train myself to sleep on my side, which felt like crap at first, but I got used to it. I never have any problems falling asleep, if I'm tired. If not, faggetaboutit. Even if I know I am going to have to get up in the morning, I can not sleep if I'm not sleepy. And I sleep about 8 to 10 hours per night. ADD people usually need a good amount of sleep, because during our wake time we are going so fast, mentally and sometimes physically. The absolute best position for your posture, btw, is back sleeping, which I can rarely do. Venus has got it right.

I'm mostly a back sleeper, but if I toss and turn a lot I tend to switch to the side and curl up.

i have no idea
but my nighty is really short and my butt stiks out i know that much!
Definite side sleeper with pillows between my knees... or my girlfriend... or some random girl![]()
All of the above if there is no one in bed with me. Whenever my BF sleeps on the couch (he stays up late playing video games and then he'll snore, so he sleeps on the couch to be nice.) I will move around the bed in every direction possible, almost like in a circle.
When he's with me, I rotate from side to stomach to back.
I did read that the best way to sleep is on your back if you want a flatter stomach, I guess it kind of convinces the stomach to stay flat when you are standing.
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
I sleep on my stomach, with my arms folded under the pillow. If I have a backache or my shoulder hurts that day, I sleep on my right side with my arm under the pillow. I can't sleep touching myself (legs together, hands on my body) because I can't stand when getting warm and sticky during the night. I LOVE turning the A/C on high and snuggling under the covers. I can't sleep on my back unless I'm dead tired and propped up a little. I couldn't sleep for the longest after my shoulder surgery cause I couldn't sleep on my back.![]()

Note to SWers with back problems: sleep on your back. Heck, put some plywood under the mattress too. It helps a lot.
Side. Alone.
I do this too! I have to be covered but I have to have a foot out.I also need to have a foot sticking out of the covers

What's a spooner?
A spooner is someone who curls up against their sleeping partner. So sexy. You can also warm your feet on them. (ha ha.)

What a cute poll.
Alone, I sleep on my belly (especially when i drop off after getting off)...but i've been trying to train myself to sleep on my back. I started that because for a long time i was doing seasonal field jobs where i had to sleep on terrible army cots or fucked up mattresses...then, when i moved across the country and quit dancing, I didn't have a real bed for a long time. Stomach sleeping is bad enough, but stomach sleeping on a 3-inch mat on the floor is even worse. Even though I've got a lovely big bed now, i do try to back-sleep more often. It's getting easier, but I still prefer the belly. One knee up. One arm underneath me and one tucked under the requisite foam rubber pillow.
(I do like to spoon, though....)
I *think* i'm a back sleeper. Though i'm usually off in dreamland while this is going on, so i can't be sure. When there is someone with me i'm told i sleep like a baby then suddenly start muttering and tossing and turning, then back to deadguy mode, then back to muttering and throwing myself around. Apparently, unless she's being nice, i don't bother her too much. Just move around a lot in spurts, but she might just be being nice.

I'm a restless sleeper, tossing and turning a lot, never staying in one position for too long. I guess I can be difficult to sleep next to. I don't snore though. I think somebody would have told me by now if I do....
