Thanks, dear. I gotta save, but I really am going to check it out. They have an open house in July.

You might qualify for some sort of financial aid, you should check into that. I qualified for student loans, but you dont start paying those back until like a year later. My mother in law had a nail art party at her house tonight, she had 6 people come over and I did nail art on only their toes, and I made 140$! Talk about excited. And the day spa I showed my nail art to was talking to a girl about it today, and that girl was there tonight, and she was like yea, they were talking about how good your stuff is and how they offered you a job, ect ect. Talk about stunned. I dont like to toot my own horn, but maybe I do ok work![]()

Hey, that's Great, RD! The flyer I got from the school said they have 99% placement rate! I just worry about "oversaturation" of nail salons (they're everywhere) & not being able to work steadily cause of not enough business.

I pay about € 200 each lesson in Holland, but they gave me the nail trainer and all the products for free, even more than enough to finish the course. Books incl.Originally Posted by whirlerz

Hey, thanks! Here, its about $1,500.00 for a six or eight month course, + supplies, I think. They have a lab you can practice in. I missed the last open house they had, but it's nearby, so I may stop in & check it out.

I just saw an ad/called, a place in Hoff.Est., IL. They said it's about 1700.00, plus 350.00 for a kit. (Or you buy your own supplies). You go your own hours. You pay 100.00 dep. + after a hundred hours, you have to pay so much towards your tuition. They don't have financial aid (you have to go thru the state on your own). They have some loans thru their bank.
