This is one of my favorite kinds of music.
Not the least of my reasons is that I have witnessed the effect of such on some truly stunning dancers. I love AC/DC and all that other old dinosaur shit, too, but there is something quite powerful about this genre, if you are selective about it.
I have been quite regrettably out of the loop for a year or so, but trust me, this will be a subject that will get some serious attention, starting today...
I will start by recommending an excellent track by Beber and Tamara (Gabriel & Dresden Campfire mix), called "Travelling On". This is a 10 minute track, so it needs to be cued up at the right spot--preferably about three minutes or more into it. There is a tricky part at 5:10 with an excellent solo female vocal, but a pro who likes it will relish the challenge. At 6:36 it kicks back in. Play with it, see what you think.
I must give credit where it is due, it was 25kristin who suggested Gabriel & Dresden here, and as always she is right on the money.

You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.

"No parking on the dance floor" - Midnight Star
Buy any CD in the "Ultra Danc" series, or "Louie DeVito's NYC Underground Party" series. They usually put out a new cd every 2 months so it will keep you up-to-date.
