    Default $$$ vs. happiness

here's a question for the girls. would you rather work in a club you enjoyed, could be yourself at and liked the customers and got along great with the girls or a club that was unenjoyable, boring, had boring customers, mean girls and an unfriendly atmosphere but made more money at?

I think this job is hard enough as it is, so I'd rather be at a club where I'm happy and people treated me well. It's not like it's bad money at the happy club....just less money. I'd probably burn out faster at an unenjoyable club, so that is important to factor in too.

A difference of few hundred a night? I'd put up with the bs at the shitty club for that and return to the fun one for a break every now and then.

This might be an odd answer, from my experience: find a way to take the boredom and mean girls, because usually the case is more money but an extras-heavy environment, not a boring but cash-rich environment.
After the clubs I've seen, I'd give my eyeteeth for a boring work enviroment!

ok, let me rephrase this: you can only pick one or the other and not work both.

THere would not be enough money in the world to get me to go into the bad club after a while. The girls where I work now are the ONLY thing that keep me from going over the edge of burnout as it is.

I would rather go home with a little less dough but with my sanity in tack!! I hate "head fuck" from work/people at work and do everything I can to avoid it.

Provided the money at the 'less' club would still justify me taking my clothes off then that would be my choice.

You just can't put a price on coming home from work with a smile still feeling good about yourself!

Well, as I tend to avoid club drama anyway, I would probably go for the BS club if it meant mucho bucks.

However, in all honesty, its easier to make good money when you're happy and in a happy environment so there normally is no contest between the two types of clubs.

I want to be happy and when I'm happy the people around me are happy too. So I guess my answer would be the Boring, happy club.

A few hundred difference? How much money do you make that that is minor? A few hundred is my entire night! I want to be you, man!

I do want more money, but you are less likely to stay at that club because you dread going in and you hate everyone there. Thats the situation I am in now. I make decent money at the club I am at, but I know that I could probally make twice as much at another bar thats off the hook, but has a shitty staff and dancers there.

Unless we're talking a couple THOUSAND difference PER NIGHT I'd take the club I like. No amount of money is worth misery. There is a client from my day job that I have flat refused to work with again because he got me so upset and last job I had with him I made $750 but it was NOT worth it. I wanted to spend the money I made on a hit man to take him out. (I'm kidding people...don't call the feds. But they'd probably offer to do it for free if they knew him.)

ya know I was very curious to see what the results were going to be as I voted.... I am also with the majority opinion( thus far anyway) of "love the club but a bit less cash".... happiness, peace of mind and self respect are always worth more than money, imo.

I am greedy, so I would go for the money club. I am actually about to make this transition next week, sigh.... I love the club I am currently at, but I know the one I am moving to will be more profitable despite the bitchy-princess girls.

If this is the nightly difference I'll go with the bs club. That's over $50,000 a year difference!!!

    haha.. what a great question!

Well seeing that what i thought to be "my happy club" is no longer my happy club for other reasons then the money just being ok....

Id say i'd pick the bad club b/c i can ignore drama and make money. But my bad club is becomming less and less bad the more i go in!
