    Default Scum Of The Earth

There's a new cd out by a band called Scum Of The Earth-"Blah Blah Blah....Love Songs For A New Millenium". SOTE is Tempesta and Riggs from Rob Zombie's band, some other guy from Powerman 5000, and some guy I have never heard of. It simply reeks of Zombie-ness, but a little less slickly produced. It was 10.99 at Best Buy, if anyone is interested. My favorite tracks so far are "Altargirl 13" and "PornStarChampion" (which heavily samples Queen!). I'm not sure if it would work at the SC or not, but it's pretty fun rockin' stuff.

The name "Scum Of The Earth" was the name of a fictitious band on an episode of WKRP In Cincinnati years ago. They were a punky band led by Michael DeBarres. I'll bet they nicked the name from there. I miss that show

Whoa, I'm a serious Zombie fan, so I'll be getting this one for sure. Thanks for the tip.

It's possible, senor. I figured they just ganked it from the Zombie song of the same name. but then maybe HE got it from WKRP. Who knows? Anyone who has hit songs based on Blade Runner and Herman Munster's racecar is okay in my book.
