    Smiley Whats In Your.....MakeUp Case?

Lets hear what some of our favorite beauty products are . Whether it's for work or taking the dog out for a walk. I love my Nars blush in Orgasm, (the name alone makes you want to buy it) it's a peachy pink with a hint of gold and looks good on almost everybody. Lancome's Hypnose Mascara is great too, you can build a lot of volume with it. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage #3 is the best for dark circles and blemishes or anything else you want/need to hide. Clinique's Gentle Light Powder in 03 Glow, it has a little shimmer that reflects light and helps minimize imperfections. Here's to looking and feeling our best!

MAC eyeshadow, NARS blush, Benefit Benetint, L'Oreal LAsh Out mascara, Bare Minerals for the rare times I bother with foundation, Cargo lip gloss, MAC Lipglass, Maybelline brow pencil, Ardell fake lashes, bronzer, Victoria's Secret shimmer powder, Neutrogena Shimmer Sheers and tinted lip balms, Smith's Rosebud Salve, plus, lots and lots and lots of other stuff I don't use on a daily basis. It's disgusting how much makeup I own...

Mac, Chanel, Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and my all time favorite sparkly stuff Urban Decay. I LOVE Mac and Chanel, but I like the others foundations, especially Cliniques because the super balanced goes on clean and doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything, BUT makes my skin look flawless!

Been using Lancome powder everyday for work along with a Cover Girl base, which is unusual for me considering I like my makeup light, but I needed better coverage anyway and it's being nice to my pores so... Frustrated with my Flextencils mascara, Wet'n'Wild black eyelines because I go through it so fast and I carry it with me everywhere. Chanel Glossimers never leave my side. I second the Nars Orgasm blush...best ever. For more intense blush I just put a cheek stain on underneath or a little Clarins face bronzer (it's never harsh against my light skin). I detest eyeshadow and I still use the same two Perscriptives palettes my mom got me three years ago. Is that bad?

it took me a while to justify spending so much money on makeup but MAC is oh so fantastic...and addicting! i love their paints for shimmer (Stilife) or not (Tan Ray) and it keeps your shadow on forever (my friend wears it swimming ), especially when your eyelids tend to get greasy like mine. Their lipglasses and lipsticks can't be beat, fatastic consistancy and impressive longevity (Dubonnet is my absolute best red). Eyeshadows, also, are well packed, smooth, last a while, and generally compliment each other. I love their fiber rich mascara (fake lashes in a tube) but when i don't feel like getting the little fibers in my eye (i have a terrible habit of not washing all my makeup off before i sleep and rubbing my eyes) Maybelline's trusty ol' pink tubed mascara is still top shelf. I just blew a bunch of $$ on Benefit products, despite the fact their salesgirls have GOT to be the absolute stupidest. I love the ease and scent of Benetint on my fair skin, and i just picked up the Brow Zing (we'll see how that goes).

Investing in some good quality make up is a wise choice, and pays for itself in quality and long lastingness (eyeshadows especially). i rationalize that i save so much money doing my hair all myself, its worth it! Some drug store products can only go so far, though there are quite a few things that are really no different at Target than at Nordstrom. i use Revlon or Physician's choice liquid eyeliner daily, plain ol' moisturizer (with high SPF!), and Cover Girl eyepencils. Eyeliners are also great for lining and filling in lips under lipsticks to create different shades! I also find that many types of brushes are pretty much univeral in quality.

Oh man, i'm hitting up the counters again tomorrow. Makeup is a dangerous hobby.

I use a tackle box for all of my makeup. One case has lipsticks, lip liners, and glosses. One has eyeshadows and brushes, one has eyeliners, and mascara, and one has cover up, sponges, and glitter. A large sippered pocket has oversized items. Another has little ziplock-like bags on a ring, that hold my hair ties. One side pocket has deoderant and perfume, as well as my Redken Glass. The other has Neosporin, sunscreen, and lotion.

I have ALL kinds of brands. Revlon, Max Factor, Manic Panic, Rebel, Cover Girl, Milani, Maybelline.... I long for some MAC but the nearest store is an hour away and I'm poor anyways. Heh.

I use my roll-on eyeshadows a lot... and my Rebel eye pigments. I use my brush on glitter for my Third Eye more than anything...

I hae a LOT of lipstick... mostly bright and dark reds... some golds... some glitters.

My eyeshadows are mostly black, reds, golds, and some greens (UV, moss, olive, and pine). Single purples, blues, and whites are here and there. Eyeliners are mostly black, though I have a pearly turquoise and a purple... and two whites.

I already need another tackle box!

I dont wear makeup. I'm au natural. If i'm getting pix or something like that done, then I will put on some CoverGirl foundation, pressed powder, drk brown lip liner and gloss. I have extremely long eyelashes..so I try to avoid the mascara. I end up hitting my brow bone lol. But I think I may be taking a trip to the cosmetics counter really soon. Oh yea, and I just recently bought some Dermablend on ebay.

I have the Nars blush in orgasm too. I'd like to try the matching lip gloss as well. And of course there's the obligatory MAC paints, pigments, shadows, lipglasses, brushes, as well as bare mineral face makeup and a bunch of prestige eyeshadows.

Merle Norman's Luxiva lasting foundation is the best. It even doubles as concealer for my many blemishes. I also use Luxiva ultra fine powder, but rarely need it b/c the found is oil free. I used Maybelline concealer stick for years..... Wet&Wild creme eyeshadow, cheap black eyeliner, Covergirl blush in sophisticated sable, and Physicians Formula bronzer. I also couldn't live without Herbal Answer chapstick, W&W shine lipgloss, and SH's Diamond lip treatment which makes your lips poutier while adding color.
