    Default Back to work jitters

Hi all, I haven't been to work in about a month and a half and I'm planning on going in tonight. The problem is, I've been saying that for the last 2 weeks, but I keep chickening out. I've been dancing for about 6 months now so it doesn't make any sense why I keep putting off not going in, but it makes me really nervous for some reason. I guess my question is, how many of you get the going back to work jitters after you've taken a long time off? I mean, it seems almost worse than before I actually started dancing!

I had jitters today ...today was my first day back. I was soooo nervous, my heart was pumping and everything but I just went on stage got naked and looked the crowd in the eye and thought "hey at least I cant see more than 3 rows back!". I cant see in the dark very well or very far for that matter in the dark.
Is there anything bothering you from going back to work besides the jitters? Why I think I didnt go back after a month off....I didnt know how to sell myself that make me insecure and nervous. Confidence is an awesome trait. It can do wonders.

OK, so the night went pretty good. Like I assumed, once I got there, it was no big deal. The whole time I was freaking out I was like "what the hell is wrong with me? Once I go back, I'm going to wonder what the heck I was freaking out about. " This was so true. Everything was fine and once I stepped in the door there were no more jitters. It's good to be back.

I used to get that ALOT. I still do time to time. What I like to do is start by working dayshifts for a week to get used to my enviornment, and tone them hustlin skills. (I do this when switching to another club as well) After that, night shifts are usually a breeze.

My case is slightly different. I've got the jitters because I don't know really how to handle my final three shifts at my "ex" club..... I can't tell anyone that I have been fired, I can't cause any trouble... I'm curious really to know how to esp. tell the custys that I will no longer be working there after Tuesday night and don't have any plans after that (as such).

I also have the jitters because alot of pressure is being put on me to "be perfect" over these three shifts.... due to "its on my DM's back" if I am not... as well as my own (as I want to earn a certain amount of $$ from those final three shifts).

Mainly, I'm just sad as I really didn't want to leave the club yet I have to... I got fired.. *sigh*
