    Default Waxing Question

Mkay, I REALLY wanna wax cuz I HATE having to shave everyday (sometimes twice, my hair grows fast) So, my question is, I know you have to grow the hair out like 1/4 inch for them to wax, but after you've had it waxed once, do you have to wait for it to grow out again? That kinda seems yucky, then you go for like a week or two looking like a yeti.

well, I wax and the hairs that grow back are WAY finer than the ones I started with...I wax like every two weeks. Also, While waiting for the hairs to be waxable again...I pluck the strays at the bikini line with tweezers. I work at a topless only place.
If everything you try is a sure thing, you aren't taking enough risks. If you never fail, you put a limit on the degree to which you can succeed. In short, the only way to win big is to risk losing

I know that waxing hurts like hell! You can do a lot of damage if it is not done properly. See the hairs on the bikin line grow in many different directions, unlike your legs or arms. So if you do wax, I highly suggest getting it done professionally for a few time to watch how its done properly. Then do it on your on. Believe me from experience, if you're not careful, its not a pretty sight. I remember I had ingrown hair bumps which are still present. So be careful, sanitize, and use a cream afterwards to reduce the swelling and irritation like an anti- inflammitory. Good luck!

Yeah, your a little fuzzy. But when you wax, the hair grows back very very fine. Just don't break down and shave it, because then you'll be back at square one. I just started with waxing (first time hurts like a bitch, it gets better as you go) and right now I've got a fine, downy growth coming in. I think it's cute, not yeti like at all. None of the guys complain, and I work at a nude club. Wednesday I'm getting waxed again. Just go every 3-4 weeks.

I was wondering....for those who have dark pubes....when you wax does it grow back faint enough so you really cant tell its there? Im still thinking about waxing but kinda not want to b/c of my dark hair.

It grows back the same color, but less harsh, more downy if that makes sense. You can still tell it's there though, but it's not super obvious. I don't think it's a big deal at all. It still looks very clean and smooth, but with just a little bit of hair. None of the guys have been turned off by it in the club.

What if you bleach between waxes? Would that damage the hair and cause it to break instead of tear during waxing? because if you can bleach your pubes or whatever it wouldn't be such a big deal to wait for regrowth..

I really have no idea. I know I wouldn't want bleach in that area at all. Waxing is enough for such a sensitive place. Just seems like a lot of effort to "disguise" the hair, when it's normal. Honestly, most guys don't care at all. I have never had any complaints on it. If it's a big deal, it seems like it's easier to shave, instead of waxing and bleacing. That's a lot of work. And I really don't know how safe bleaching is.

    Long time waxer here....

How I approach it... 'underneath' my bikini line I actually can allow to grow out a little bit longer than 'on top' (pubic area).... I only work nude and this doesn't seem to be a problem. Then again, I'm a long time waxer (dark pubes).... so my re-growth is there just not "yeti" like....

I then go to my waxer to have only the top done whenever I require it (more frequently) than the bottom. If I get impatient and don't want to shave (I always regret it when I shave the pubic area)... tweezers!

Due to how weak the hair follices are in my pubic area... they come out so easily! I can even pull some of them out with my fingers due to how weak they are....

Waxing is something that is done for a decent length of time before you will see results (really weak hair - comes out easy).... it isn't an overnight results type of thing.

I wax only because it is more affordable for me to do so than to do lazer.
