    Lightbulb Nipple Piercings?

I am seriously thinking about piercing my nipples. I talked to my favorite guy friend and he is so against it. I think it is really sexy though! If anyone has them done, how did it feel and what was your care routine like? Do you suggest the circle rings or the barbells? I am excited about getting them. But I want to know if it is worth it. Also, ladies who have had bad experiences, please post a comment and what happened. I am curious to know the side effects, if any. Thanks yall!!

I want mine done too, but my boss and his boss would have a fucking fit! They already gave me shit about my tattoos, so maybe when I retire if my rack still looks good

I've heard it hurts like a motherfucker though...just so ya know...good luck

I had mine done for about a year and I loved them, definitely an increase in sensation. I took them out because I was working in an upscale club, but have sorta wanted to get them done again. I liked it when they were played with, and my nipples were always hard with my rings.

My healing time was amazingly fast, better than any other piercing I have. I felt fine within 10 minutes of having them pierced. Sure, it hurts when the needle is stuck through your boob, but that lasts only about 3 seconds. It's definitely manageable. My bellybutton and my upper earlobe were more painful and also took much longer to heal. I kept them clean with whatever the piercer gave me, I think she saline solution. You don't use alcohol because it can dry the skin out, which is not conducive to the healing process.

I had circle rings in my nipples, but I think the barbells are pretty cute too.
Sigh, all this talk of piercings makes me want another one. I am 95% set on getting my clit hood done with my grilfriend next week.

I pierced mine last October just for the heck of it. And I agree, with Jayln, there is definitely an increase in sensation, which can be annoying at times, especially if I am not wearing a thickly padded bra. Some people say they lose sensation, though. I guess it all just depends on a person's anatomy and such.

I have 14 piercings, and my nipples were definitely the most painful (I yelled swear words during the process), but it's nothing so bad that I cried or anything. Plus the pain is very temporary. I had mine pierced with barbells. Either way you go with jewerly, make sure they are pierced with jewerly large enough to allow for swelling. I have had no problems with them yet, but I have not taken them out yet. Nipple piercings actually take a long time to heal completely (think about one year) so I'm playing it safe and just leaving them alone, even though it has been longer then six years since they've been pierced.

One of the most important things you can do is do some research and choose a professional and reliable piercer to do them. The last thing you want is some novice piercer jamming needles through your nipples. Make sure the studio is clean and uses autoclaved needles. Also, make sure the piercer where gloves and changes them often during the whole procedure (sounds weird, but anything they touch has bacteria on it, so the more times they change their gloves, the less chance of an infection). BME is a great site to do research on, and to read stories of other people's experiences with piercing. The site is http://www.bmezine.com

I cleaned mine twice a day with Satin antimicrobial soap, which I got at a piercing studio, but I'm sure you can find it at a drug store, or at least a similar brand (even good ol' Dial antibacterial soap can be used). I also did sea salt soaks once a day for about two weeks. Sea salt soaks are really good for calming irritated piercings, no matter how old they are. Do NOT use bactine, alcohol, or antibacterial ointment on piercings, this is a huge no-no. The ointment does not allow oxygen to get to the piercing, which helps in the healing process, and the other two items are very irritating.

If you have any other questions, feel free to message me. My boyfriend is a piercer, and I myself have had many piercing experiences so I would be happy to help you out in anyway! Good luck if you do decide to pierce your nipples!

I have one done. Have had it now for ten years.

I don't have any increase in sensation at all. Feels the same.

    Looks good though.

First of all, YES IT HURTS LIKE A MOFO! For about 30 minutes. When you get it done, put on a bra as soon as you can bear it. The friction and rubbing from a loose shirt will make it hurt worse than wearing a bra. I cleaned mine (and still do) with Peroxide, then coated the ring in Neosporin. It takes a good while to heal. I got mine done in the middle of softball season, and 5 days after, got hit in the boob with a ball. It broke the ring and I had to change it. That was one of the most excruciating pains I have ever felt. I had no feeling in my nipples before I got them done, now, they feel amazing. I love the way they look and feel. If you want them, give it a shot. Worst thing that happens is you don't like them and take them out. I'm terrified of needles, and am a huge pansy, and I have both of mine done, and had them done a year apart.

The second nipple hurt worse than the first because I already knew what I was in for! It brought tears to my eyes and they bled for 3 days (had to keep paper towels in my bra)! I lost some sensitivity in my nipples, but they were super sensitive before. If you go with rings, get them as small as possible. I had regular sized rings and felt like they looked like the rings they put in bull's noses! I wore the smallest size barbells to work, but if I left them in overnight, my nipples would start to grow over the balls at the end. Maybe my nipples were too big for that size, so I would suggest if you go with barbells, make sure you get the right size for you.

I took mine out to breastfeed my last child. I will not be getting them repierced, just not worth the pain and the trouble.

Oh yes, a BIG increase in sensation
After breastfeeding my daughter for over a year, I had no real sensation left in my nipples, after I had them pierced it was just crazy! I've had them pierced for about 5 years now, and while they are not nearly as sensitive as they were for the first months after, they feel pretty good!
Yes, it hurt...really, really hurt. I had them done one after the other, and the second one was a bitch. But, within about half an hour afterward, the pain was actually kinda pleasurable. I had no healing issues at all. Just washed them in soapy water a couple times a day, I think I used Pears soap on the piercers recommendation. I wanted barbells right away, but they made me get the rings first. Apparently they are best for healing, lots of room to allow for swelling, and easier to clean as you can rotate the jewelry easily. The only complaint I had was when I still had the rings in there was a second little bump below my nipples from the beads, that looked a little odd through certain fabrics.
Although I don't know if all customers like them, I've always found they are an attention getter/conversation starter, as long as you don't get too tired of hearing "that must have hurt"...I must have heard that a thousand times now!

go to www.tribalectic.com <---helped me out a whole bunch with all my piercings

I got my nipples pierced a couple months ago. It's not as bad as you think; the anxiety was actually worse than the piercings themselves.

My advice: if you want them, go for it! I got little barbells and I love them!

i got so worked up about getting mine done, and when it actually got done i laughed because it was a lot less painful than i expected. i imagined it being a lot worse. its over so fast. i didn't get any more sensation in my nipples than before tho. i thought my nose was worse than my nipples and my genital piercings! i think if you like it you should go for it.
