    Default Florida rules?

    Hi everyone,
I also have American citizenship and although I live in Montreal I will be visiting Florida for a week in June. Can someone tell me what the rules are in Florida for dancing? Will I need to get a sheriff's card like in Vegas or some type of license?
I will be in Sarasota, are there are clubs there that I can dance in for just a few days?

    Thanks!

FL is a very easy state to dance in - no card or business license needed.. just a photo ID that states you are atleast 18.

I only know of Cheetah in Sarasota - if you go there, dont tell them you will only be there for a few days - they may be less likely to hire you. Not sure though.... I'd call, or maybe some of the Sarasota girls will chime in

Yeah I work at the Cheetah. Its a pretty cool club. Full liquor bar and nude. Airdances 20 dollars. Don't tell them you are only going to be here for a few days. I don't think they will care but just to be careful keep it to your self. They girls are o.k they just will pretty much ignore you for the most part. Some are really nice though and I haven't had any trouble with anyone being catty and mean. No schedule which is uber nice. UMMM......pretty easy to make 300-400 dollars and more if you put in a little effort or it's just your night. Alot of girls make 500 and up. The only thing I don't like is the bouncers suck. Don't tell them I said so though. LOL. You got to look out for yourself which is something that I miss about my old club where the bouncers actually did their jobs. The only other club in town is a total dump don't even bother. The next town over has two clubs and I have danced at both of them. One is really beautiful inside but doesn't have much of a clietel so you aren't going to make much money. The other one is slightly more lucrative But I only averaged about 200 dollars there. So Cheetah is your best bet if you dance nude. Also it is tip to strip so if your aren't getting tipped onstage you don't take off your clothes. 5 for the top 5 more for the bottoms. So you don't get naked on stage unless you get 10 dollars. One of the other things I don't really like is it is a runway stage with no poles. I miss the pole. I just saw that you are coming down in June that is our slow season, This is my first year dancing so i don't know exactly how bad it gets. If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me. Hope I helped out.

You do need a licence in certain parts of Florida. If you are not heading down south though, you don't need to worry about it.

I have not heard of a club yet in Florida that requires a license.....What part of Florida?

I actually applied for a license when i was 21, and was told i did not need one...but you know what? They charged me....Now i have been moving around alot lately, and hit a few northern clubs in Fl. They don't require a license either.

Palm Beach County requires a licence. I also have mine kicking around somewhere....

I used to work at Thee Dollhouse in North Miami and had good experiences. I heard the one in Tampa does very well.

Ok i have inquired about many clubs all over Florida, and not 1 club said i needed a license just my Fl. ID. (couple clubs 2 forms of ID) New rule? Always applied?

I am confused. Especially all over south Fl. never needed a license.

Hmm i will see what the heck is going on i guess.

I have yet to hear of Orlando requiring anything. And it's a topless area.

I worked at Solid Gold in N. Miami beach during spring break, I had a great experience. The management is great and you make your own schedule. You just have to work 3 nights, house fee is anywhere from $30-$50 + tipouts to DJ/mom/security. $10 table dances on the floor and $20 lap dances in back rooms. $150/half hour rooms. The weekdays are kinda slow but friday and sat are super busy.

The only club in Orlando that requires a licence is "Temptations" which is a dive anyway. Actually none of the clubs in Orlando are very good.

    Rules?

    What rules?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Where I am in Daytona, you need a drivers license (or other legal proof of your age) and your ass, lol...
