windows media player

When I use windows media player to play video clips, it always plays too fast and when people talk they sound like chipmunks cus' its so fast. Is there some way to make it play normal?

Try re-installing it. I'm far from an expert but there are no speed controls in the program so if there is a problem with it running on your computer a re-load may solve it.

Are you playing the video off of a CD? If so in the tools-->options menu, go to devices and change the CD-ROM properties playback from digital to analog. Hope that works.

Yeah, it's either that or you need to update audio drivers through the Control Panel.
