Default GPS and your neighborhood pedophile

Driving into work i heard on the savage nation talk show how they were planning on tracking pedophiles via global tracking systems.
Im guessing they are going to put a chip in um or something.

Now im all for whatever horrible thing can be done to a pedophile, the more it hurts and the longer it last, the better IMO.

But this is a stupid freekin plan!!

I dont know who the re re was who thought this up,but its almost criminal !!

The only guys with the chips are the people who have been cought before and released.

Pedophiles have an almost 100% chance of being a repeat offender.

So in order for this "program"to work,a pedophile has to be convicted,"chipped",and then released to commit another crime!
Only THEN will the chip be of any use!!!

    Are you freekin kidding me!!!!

They know when they put the chip in and release the pedophile that he is going to do it again, the GPS will only make it easy to find him the next time he hurts a kid!!!

The guys who put the chips in and open the door are as guilty as the pedophile now IMO!!!!!

    Im so against this program!!!!

I heard about this too... I agree with you.

I went to the Megans Law website (CA site addy) and found 15 pedophiles living in my zip code. Mind you that I live in a tiny town of less than 1000....

It just floors me that someone can aprrove a "we gonna get them the NEXT time they do it"approach to pedophiles.

    I agree..but here's the flip side:
We live in a country with SHORT, PATHETIC punishments for pedophiles (and when they do go to jail, they're "protected" so the rest of the prison population can't take revenge on em) and they eventually do get out. Hell, most of our crimes have wimpy punishments, unless you're a college kid bought buying weed, then good-bye career.

Since they WILL get out and they WILL do it again (something like 90%) I'm glad this chip will make it easy to track em. We got their DNA from first crime, it matches a 2nd time, and BINGO we know where they are.

Hopefully, the scum are smart enough to realize this and control themselves, or find some other way (a nice high cliff comes to mind) to prevent repeat offenses....because they know they're now "born dead" with the chip...nowhere to hide.

Get this ... In New York it is illegal for specific information concerning Pedophiles to be released to members of the general public. The state has classified 'sex offenders' into three categories, depending on (I suppose) whether they raped and assaulted a 10 year old, merely raped an 18+ year old, etc. In the case of even the most serious sex offenders, if a member of the general public makes a request to the police dep't, the cops are obligated to tell you the number of serious sex offenders living in your general area, but will NOT release specific names and addresses under any conditions.

However 'official' inquiries can access this information, and lately a school system made such an inquiry and found out that an apartment building directly across the street from a school playground was housing not one but THREE serious sex offenders (in gov't subsidized apartments, collecting welfare and food stamps BTW !). The school system put out an announcement to the parents of all students in the school, and now there is fear that the ACLU will back a lawsuit on behalf of the three pedophiles to sue the school system for slander due to illegal disclosure of their personal info by school officials !

It sounds like we need a few more liberal politicians and judges in this state, right ?

I have been reading up on repeat offenders for pedophiles, and some studys are showing them to not repeat as often as people think they do.

Most seem to think that they repeat only 55% of the time - not much worse than armed robbery or assault oriented charges.

However, the ones that do repeat average around 76 victims in their lifetimes!!!

I have always wondered with all the people with children or that matter anyone who likes being around kids I myself dont have any and probably wont but I do enjoy being around them Nephews Nieces etc . You know people go postal for no reason except stress and pissed at the world , people shoot there classmates for picking on them not a good reason to suffer the utimate consequence . But would everyone feel so bad if a guy did a little research on these sick basturds ( pedophiles ) and just started taking them out one by one . I know this is very extreme but I really have no room for these people sorry . I better give my disclaimer now I myself could not muster the balls to do this but if there was some kind of person who carried out this type of crime how would you feel about them . Would you rate them the same as the pedophile or would you fell more relieved that a pedophile was taken off the streets and another child would not have to live this persons sick fantasies ! Sorry if I offended anyone here I just get so aggravated thinking about how terrible this must be for a young child .Somebodys got to fight for them and frankly the system isnt doing the job .

I dont know much about crime of passion laws, but i think the parent of the child molested,if they can kill the guy, they deserve some kind of get out of jail free card on a federal level.

This is a case of the system failing the people and not protecting our greatest asset, our children, our future.

Actually, the system is being specifically prohibited from doing the job. Otherwise these pedophiles would get 'equal treatment' while imprisoned, and the prison population would take care of the problem for us so to speak !

Unfortunately, politically speaking, you can't have your cake and eat it too. The liberal laws which protect the rights of criminals have to be applied equally to pedophiles (and in New York the ACLU is standing by to see that this happens in the specific example I posted about).

The only chip I think should be put into the body of a pedophile would be coming out the business end of a sawed off shotgun.

Fuck the "rights" of these people. They lost those rights when they chose to take their deviant sexual behavior and gratification out on infants/toddler/tweens.

If the ACLU wins that fight for the pedophiles, I forsee a LOT of problems in the future for convicted pedopheliac sexual predators. Saying that it is OK to house sexual predators across the street from the school is INSANE...and will most likely cause more "secretive" problem-solving in the future.

I would sue the city if they put a SP anywhere near my daughter without telling me...and then that SP would disappear without a trace once I got my hands on him/her.

    Unacceptable.

Thank you VG I thought maybe I was going to get coined the crazy guy by my post as you can see I am not very tolerant of these type of freaks or any type of sexual or just plain hate crimes I just dont get it .We all love this country ( I hope ) but damn sometimes upholding the constitution to all is not even in the best interest of the moral ( I am stressing Moral here ) majority !

Right reaction, but wrong conclusion (for New York anyhow). If the ACLU does sue the school system, win or lose it will intimidate other school systems from ever releasing the detailed info about sex offenders which only THEY, as an 'official' source of inquiry, are provided with. Under NY state law, any citizen or group of citizens will NOT be provided with actual names and addresses of sex offenders living in their neighborhood upon which they could consider more "secretive" solutions. The best info they'll be able to get from the cops or the state legal system is "there are seven registered sex offenders living in your community ... end of info". More likely, the ACLU lawsuit will be dropped, in exchange for the state removing all school systems from the allowed list of 'official' inquiries so that in the future no school system will be given access to actual names and addresses of sex offenders (guaranteeing the illegal disclosure to parents situation will never recur in another school system).

Furthermore, the parents of a victimized student attempting to sue any school, city or the state for that matter, for failure to protect that student from known sex offenders will go nowhere ... because schools, city cops/officials etc. are required to follow state law and therefore NOT disclose the identities of these sex offenders. If this ACLU backed lawsuit happens it will be because the school system broke state law by releasing names and addresses of nearby sex offenders to the general public i.e. parents of the school's students. You're damn right that this is UNACCEPTABLE, but in New York there is no ballot initiative to force a change of laws based on a proposal by voters. This can only be changed by a vote of the state legislature or by a state court ruling, with precious little chance of anything changing in those areas given New York's overwhelming liberal/democratic majority.

I know how to deal with these nutcases. A single bullet to the back of the head. Painless, and it gets them out of our hair.

The THOUGHT that the freak who raped and buried Jessica Lundsford alive is still sucking air between his teeth is enough to drive me insane.

I say just take these fools out of protective custody in prison. Let the general population or max guys fix them.

I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them.

Well it's kind of hard to put the chip in them BEFORE they get caught...

Reading the rest of the responses, it's pretty funny how people are so willing to compromise due process in favor of mob rule. Laws mean nothing if they are not equally applied. Going the route suggested by many here lowers us to their level.

There's also self-defense (All people have a right to it). These retards don't get fixed. They are doomed anyway, why not just put the out of their misery (And ours!).

I sure wish things were that easy.

A few months ago, Law and Order SVU had a really good episode.

A piano teacher was diddling his students, but no one would come forward. The teacher had helped them in so many ways as well as abused them. Finally, they found a young man who was willing to come forward to the abuse he suffered at his teachers thing-a-ma-bob.

Man, you really felt for the kid - cuz ya know he went through so much and it did effect his life with depression and suicidal thoughts and a feeling of vulnerability.

Finally the cops got a chance to search the house, based on this young man's testimony and found a secret camera and film stash.

    Case closed?

Of course it isn't that easy.

As they watched the films, they realized that at least once, their witness molested a child under the teachers watchful eye.

The victim had become the perpetrator.

So, as you speak about shooting people in the head or cutting off their nuts or letting them get raped in prison...

The truth for most of them is THEY HAVE BEEN RAPED ALREADY. They have already been abandoned by the system. Some already live outside the norms of society with the stigma of homosexual interaction. Some already live outside the norms of society as their female abuser taught them the ways of molesting.

Picture that bullet going into a young boys head after he has been molested and raped - because that is what you are saying. Kill the victim.

To me, I fall into the camp of this is a mental disease, a form of PTS, or it's own thing. Should we wander around and start shooting them for being clinically mentally disordered?

I am not saying we should let them go, but there is one thing that is taboo in research these days and it seems to be sexual molesters. Plenty of work on the victims, but not a whole lot on what is going on in the molesters (as drudgereport.com has shown, a lot of women are involved in the molestation business too).

I find it funny that people who want to kill criminals don't hold the same standard for terrorists and depots.

I don't mind killing terrorists, a whisker. Prove to me that terrorist IS a terrorist and i'm fine with it. And despots? What does that have to do with the price of tea in china? What Despot have we killed. Far as i know, the only one we have on hand is holed up in some prison in the middle east. If you're talking about my opposition to the Iraq war, that comes from a totally different place. It has more to do with the war on terrorism in the broadest sense. Splitting our forces to basically fight two guerilla wars at the same time doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense to me. Worrying about Saddam nuking us when he has no delivery system doesn't make a lot of sense to me (what's he gonna do? Fed-Ex the bomb to us?), wait, check that... None of that shit was found. I'm not exactly crying any Crocodile tears for Saddam OR his two brats, but i think it was the wrong fight at the wrong time. Still do.

Fact is, an episode of a TV show (seen that one BTW, it WAS pretty good) doesn't amount to jack-lickety-spit in the real world. These people do not 'recover.' They are ticking bombs. Dismantle them. Cut the red wire. Kill them. I don't want to have to deal with them and neither does the rest of the planet.
