    Sad Razor Bumps

Hi everyone I am truly considerating becoming a dancer but there are a few things that I have to fix about myself before I can get the courage to show my body to the public but anyway my question is does anyone know a product to get rid of razor bumps and blemishies, and maybe something for stretch marks?

Razor bumps- use hot water and baby oil to shave with, or Neosoprin. And new razors always!
Blemishes, strech marks- Dermablend, or green/ yellow stick and concealer. No one ever mentions how shimmer powder can have a cover-up effect also.

Tend Skin works wonders for razor bumps and ingrown hairs. You can get it at most salons that do waxing.

I use baby powder and an electric shaver. Baby powder before AND after the shave.

    ooh, baby powder, great idea!
I use rubbing alochol after shaving with a sensitive skin shaving gel and then I apply bkiki zone, I rub it in and it works like a charm.

Yeah, I second tend skin. Is a little pricey, but it works. You can get it @ sephora...

Tend Skin is a miracle product. Also, there's a shaving lotion out that's a little pricey (about $12 or $15 a bottle) called "Coochy". Has loads of lanolin in it. For stretch marks, the only thing to help that is coco butter i guess. Dig around at Wal-Mart of Target in the lotion isle and see what they offer. Consult a dermatologist if you need to.

Nivea shaving balm works really well too.. It's for men, but works great after shaving and doesn't cost all that much.

I just want to point out that the stuff that you see in the mirror at home is probably not going to appear in the club due to the lights-- so don't be too harsh on yourself ; )
As for shaving, there's one post that suggested getting the cheap razors and only using them two or three times. It's worked for me really well, except that it dries out my skin more than the venus or gillette (I like gillete A LOT for bikini line)
As for stretch marks, cocoa butter sounds good. Isn't there a tattooing process now for matching the stretch mark skin to the regular skin? Something to consider...
Also, re: blemishes-- you're definitely going to get them when you start working, but the best bet is prevention. My butt has a tendency to break out so I use noxema or clearasil on it in the shower for a few minutes, and then I also exfoliate with a scrub brush. Ditto with my back, the brush works great since I can't reach. Up your water intake and look at some of the vitamin posts. Good Luck!

I got some stuff called 'bikini tone' from shoppers drugmart today, it was only $8 (Canadian) so I will see how it goes. It is a cream.

I used to use a liquid product called 'ingrow go' that was pretty good!

Tip - You can use this products on your rear as well to get rid of any little butt spots

I agree with fancygirl too, alot of this won't show up on stage!
