    Default 1st Day is tomorrow

Ok, y'all gotta calm my nerves a little. I'm going into work tomorrow for the first time. I'm nervous, but I'm not too worried about it. I expect to be nervous and I know I'll get over it.

I don't have to go on stage if I don't want to (I'll just be mingling and trying to sell lapdances) & I don't have to pay the house fee either, which is cool. This is for the first night only, of course.

    I just have 2 questions:

Is it a good idea to tell the guys it's my first night? Or is that bad?

I'm afraid I will be shaking & they will be able to tell I'm nervous. Is there any way to mask the nervousness a little?

    Thanks for the help.

As a male custy I'd recommend you tell guys it's your first night. It's a win-win situation. Firstly, guys tend to fantisise about dancers anyway, (see threads ad-infinitum on this forum), and you are feeding the fantasy by being a newbie. Secondly, as you will be still on the learing curve, it makes it easier for guys to make allowances if you are still working out a routine for the first few dances.

Only slight downside - there are always a few idiots who try to go beyond a dancer's limits. Find and read the threads about what to do with grabby/licky guys.

As to the nervousness, your thoughts are your own, and only you will know them. You can read something of a dancer's state of mind from her bdy language, but most men are poor at reading body language so again, many customers will not pick up on it.

You should be able to turn this to your advantage as well if they do comment - the little girl lost routine: "I'm so nervous on my first night, be nice to me and make it easy for me". [Flutter eyelashes and look helpless.]

    Good luck.

    Phil.
