    Default Hanging Upside down

Well, I saw one of those "inversion" things. *Looks like a lounge chair, you hang upside down, (can be @ 45 degree or other angle) It's supposed to help your back & spine, & joints. Also supposed to increase exercise effectiveness, although some years ago I read something negative about it, but can't remember. Anyone tried, or hear of this?.

I saw one of these on an infomercial... I really would love to try it, the only thing that kept me from buying one is it looked so big and I wasn't sure where I would keep it... I don't think I heard anything negative about it... I would also love to know if they work. My sore muscles could use a good stretching out...

My ex has one, he swears by it for reliving back pain and has been hanging upside down on it for years!
I tried it a few times, but it was a pain having to adjust the thing for our different heights. I liked it but I didn't find it as good as he did.

I just figured out how to hang upside down on my pole. It makes all the blood flow to my head and I get dizzy when I come back up. I feel like my head would pop open if I stayed upside too long.

I have heard a lot of chiropractors advise against those inversion tables.I dunno why.

Ditto... i always feel like I'm going to have an aneurism if I stay upside down for to long...

I've heard mostly negatives about what is termed "inversion therapy". a) the pain relief is only temporary, b) Can result in headaches (obviously), c) can cause bleeding into your retina , and c) is bad if you have heart disease, hypertension, glaucoma or other eye diseases.

I prefer to let the blood rush to the other head, thank you very much.
